As the plan to remove Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress gets more serious, a recent change has taken place at the party's national secretariat in Abuja.
It was gathered that the new leadership of APC on Thursday morning removed the big billboard in front of its national headquarters which has the pictures of its suspended National chairman, Adams Oshiomhole and President Muhammadu Buhari.
A new billboard was erected with only President Buhari's picture. The space for Oshiomhole's picture was replaced with the party's logo.

Anambra State Government has directed all schools in the state to vacate indefinitely to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The government said on Thursday that the vacation takes effect from March 20.
“The management of all schools in the state must provide handwash stations at the entrance of all schools,†it said.
“They must ensure that all students and visitors wash their hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, allowing their hands to air-dry. It is desirable for parents to provide hand sanitisers for their wards.

“Management of all schools must on arrival to school, take the temperature of their day students. Temperatures above 37.9 degrees Celsius must be reported to the nearest hospital.
“Schools management are encouraged to take the temperature of their boarding students at least once every day. Temperatures above 37.9 degrees Celsius must be reported to the nearest hospital.
“All Primary and Secondary Schools in Anambra State must go on indefinite vacation effective 27th March 2020.â€
The government also said all inter-house sports competitions have been suspended until further notice.
Students of Anambra tertiary institutions are to proceed on vacation effective March 20 until further notice, it said.

Turkey has officially charged 20 suspects including two aides to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the murder of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul in October 2018.
The 59-year-old commentator and Riyadh critic who wrote for The Washington Post was killed after he entered the Saudi consulate on October 2, 2018, to obtain paperwork for his wedding to Turkish fiancee Hatice Cengiz.
According to Turkish officials, Khashoggi was strangled and his body cut into pieces by a 15-man Saudi squad inside the consulate. His remains have never been found since then.
On Wednesday, the office of the Istanbul chief prosecutor, Irfan Fidan, said in a statement that the former royal court adviser Saud al-Qahtani and former deputy head of intelligence Ahmed al-Asiri were among the suspects charged with “instigating a premeditated murder with the intent of [causing] torment through fiendish instinct.â€
Eighteen other suspects including intelligence operative Maher Mutreb who frequently travelled with the crown prince on foreign tours, forensic expert Salah al-Tubaigy and Fahad al-Balawi, a member of the Saudi royal guard were also charged with ‘deliberately and monstrously killing, causing torment’.
Arrest warrants for the suspects have already been issued but since none are in the country a trial in absentia will be opened at an unspecified date, the prosecutor has said.
At that time, the CIA, along with several Western governments accused the crown prince of ordering Khashoggi’s assassination. The kingdom has since denied such claims, but blamed a “rogue operation†for Khashoggi’s death.
It was also revealed that Saudi Arabia has rejected Turkish calls for the suspects’ return to face trial in Turkey despite sentencing five unidentified people to death in December 2019.
Turkey is seeking life imprisonment in all 20 cases in the murder.

Mercedez Benz Nigeria, a frontline automobile company, has donated a Waste Truck to the Lagos State Government as part of efforts to support the present administration in the management of waste as well as containing the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the State.
Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, the Managing Director, Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), who received the 18-Tonne AXOR 1823 Truck on behalf of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos House, Marina, today, commended Mercedez Benz for the gesture to boost the operational capacity of LAWMA.
He explained that the 18-Tonne, Roll-On Roll-Off model truck, with the capacity to lift the 12cbm waste bin, will be ideal in evacuating refuse generated from the isolation units that have been set up by the Lagos State government.
Earlier, the Head of Sales, Mercedez Benz Nigeria, Mr. Umoh Ekanem said that the organisation is proud to be associated with Lagos State through LAWMA, and hopes to contribute more in order to assist the Authority in its enormous job of waste management, which according to him, is the collective responsibility of everyone.

He said Mercedez Benz recognises the great work that LAWMA is doing in ensuring that Lagos is rid of waste, affirming that the streets of Lagos are now much cleaner.
The National Youth Council of Nigeria South East Zone has called on South East sons and daughters to support government efforts towards combating COVID-19 Pandemic in the zone.
In a statement signed by the National Vice President, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) South East Zone , Prince Chibuike Echem on Monday.
The apex youth organisation commended the South East Governors for their efforts so far and appealed to the people to support the government by taking taking precautions so as stay safe.

A student of Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Kaduna State, has been hailed on Twitter after he designed and manufactured a "manual ventilator" in 2 days to aid in the treatment of Coronavirus patients.
20-year-old Usman Dalhatu, from Gombe state, is a 200-level student of Mechanical Engineering at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU).
Usman has been an inventor since secondary school, made the manual ventilator with locally sourced materials.
He said that he designed and produced the manual ventilator as part of the effort to assist the Federal Government to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday evening described as “extremely horrifying,†the news of the death of 14 persons and injury to many from a fire incident at an IDP camp in Ngala, Borno State.
Reacting to the sad incident, the President in a statement released by Garba Shehu Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity) directed the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development to investigate and report the circumstances leading to the incident, and advise on how a future occurrence will be averted.
He further directed that urgently needed assistance be immediately given to the victims, and prayed to Allah to repose the souls of those whose lives were lost, and the quick recovery of the injured persons.
Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham also known as Mummy Ire has reacted to the news that she has taken over her colleague’s position as the new Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) ambassador.
Abraham, featured in an advertorial through which the center sensitized Nigerians on the importance of regular hand washing, as well as other coronavirus preventive measures.
