 30 year old Mrs Rosemary Declan, has been arrested for the  alleged public attack on husband’s 18 year old lover, Miss Onyebuchi Chibueze. According to media reports, the incident happened at Jezco Filling Station, located along Ejigbo road, Ikotun Lagos.  Further reports stated that Mrs Rosemary Declan had secretly followed her husband who had driven his Honda CRV to the filling station with his lover by his side. She had confronted the lovebirds, dragged the 18 year old out of the car and caused her grievous bodily harm.

The 18 year old victim was rushed to the hospital and the husband displeased with his wife's conduct, ordered his mistress to report the assault to thePolice at Area D Command, Mushin. Mrs Rosemary Declan was arrested, interrogated and thereafter arraigned before the Isolo Magistrate Court on charges of threat to life and assault. The defendant pled "not guilty" and was   granted bail to the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum by the presiding Magistrate, Mrs O.A. Akokhia.

Rosemary Declan is to be in custody at the Correctional Centre at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when she will perfect her bail conditions while the case was adjourned till April 24, 2023. Further revelations have it that the husband has sent messages to her family declaring  an intention to obtain a divorce from his incarcerated spouse.

A 23-year-old girl, Destiny Benjamin, has been reported dead four days after undergoing a hip surgery, popularly known as Brazilian Butt Lift, BBL, at Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Lagos.

Various social media platforms have been awash with the viral video of the procedure since her death.

Confirming the development, the owner of Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Dr Ogbe Omoruyi, denied the allegation that the lady died in the hospital during the surgery.

Omoruyi who explained that the deceased underwent the surgery on March 8th 2023, which he said went well, and had complained of difficulty in breathing a few days later.

The Plastic surgeon said the deceased was placed on oxygen and was stabilized before she was referred to an Intensive care unit, which is 10 minutes away from its facility.

Omoruyi also revealed that the patient was referred to the Genesis Specialists hospital, Ikeja GRA, Lagos State, where she gave up the ghost.

He said: “She is a 23 years old girl according to what she wrote on documents. She had a surgery and after that she was fine, her surgery went well.

“I can show you in our case note to show that everything was fine.

 however, after days, she was having difficulty breathing. We placed her on oxygen and she was stabilized before we referred her to an Intensive care unit, which is 10 minutes away from our facility.

“Unfortunately, as we all know, surgery has its own risk, and if you ask any professional doctor or surgeon, who knows about life consumption and tractions, it is very easy to think that she could have fat embolism or clot embolism, but she had difficulty breathing.

“A very important investigation was done. It is called CT Pulmonary Angiogram. This can detect any clot that is present within the pulmonary system.

“The test was done in the facility where she was referred to. When I was informed and showed the results, it was said that she didn’t have an embolism.

“Her cousin, Sunset, was with her after her surgery. They went around because they were together. She came here to see her and they took pictures together, moving around the clinic compound two days later.

“However or unfortunately, an autopsy hasn’t been done; I don’t know if the family is going to consent to that, I mean the autopsy to see the exact cause of her death.”

Contrary to social media reports that the medical clinic recorded five deaths in a year, Ogbe said only two deaths have been recorded in the clinic, noting that it happened in the year 2018 and 2021.

He said: “This can be verified under the Local Government because all Local governments have Primary Health centers where practitioners give reports on the death toll. So, we have only two recorded deaths.”

“The family of the deceased have not reported to the police authorities.”

However, efforts to get Genesis Specialist Hospital’s reaction proved unsuccessful.

Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola Salako has opened up about her sex life, marriage and red flags in relationships.

During an interview with TVC Your View, the actress revealed that she lost her virginity through rape and the incident made her to develop hatred for sex because she saw it as a punishment.

Foluke Daramola, who is now married to a politician, Kayode Salako, said her first husband always wanted sex without bothering about her plight, making her feel like he is beating her and she was always scared of going home.

She said, “I lost my virginity thru rape, so sex to me was punishment and the person I got married to wanted it every time. It felt like he was beating me”.

The actress noted that before she married him, she saw the red flags but ignored them because he and her friends were rushing her into marriage.

Foluke said after she succumbed to peer pressure and got married, she got a broken sim on her wedding night because her husband asked her to cut her sim.

“When I wanted to enter my first marriage, the sign was there even though my partner was rushing me into marriage and I was like my friends were getting married. All the signs were there. Anger issues,” she said.

“My first experience was on my wedding night. I got a broken sim cause I had to change to a new sim. I saw the signs of abuse and anger but I overlooked them. I had to stay there because of what proof would say”.

Nigerian comedian Seyi Law, as lashed out at people in Southwest states who were protesting the "Yoruba for Yoruba Jobs" program.

According to sources, Tonia Somaga, a graduate from Anambra State and supporter of the Labour Party (LP), drives one of the blue rails in Lagos State. She was criticized by some for her support of Peter Obi and was urged to be fired by the Lagos State government.

Seyi Law posted a picture on twitter of a man posing in front of a sign that read, "Yoruba Jobs for Yoruba People" on Twitter.

The organization urged businesses, organizations, and governments to hire 90% Yoruba people.

The comedian responded by calling the movement "complete madness" and declaring that he did not support Bola Tinubu for president because of it.

He pointed out that the female LP fan on the train presents a chance to promote peace and demonstrate the All Progressives Congress' (APC's) uniqueness.

He tweeted: “This is absolute madness. I didn’t support ASIWAJU to see all these things.

“Are you saying even companies owned by non- Yoruba should do the same or just those owned by Yorubas? Either way, this is wrong, so let’s stop promoting rubbish in the name of anger.

“The train girl was an opportunity for us to preach peace and show we are different. I am not belittling your anger, but we must learn to compromise for the collective peace we crave. You can respect your tribe without denigrating another. Abeg na, let’s sheath our swords.

 Nigerian gay rights activist and public speaker Bisi Alimi, has put up a post on his official social media platform commemorating the date which he discovered that he was HIV Positive. According to his post, on this day 19 years ago, he had walked into an HIV testing booth in Abuja and came out positive. Bisi Alimi who penned that the discovery of his HIV Positive status changed his life forever, as 19 years later, he's still alive and thriving. The gay rights activist further revealed that after testing positive in 2004, he had gone 5 years without any sort of medication  as they hadn't been many cases of people living with HIV at the time.

He founded the Bisi Alimi Foundation in 2015 to accelerate social acceptance for LGBT in Nigeria. Bisi Alimi resides in London.

Nigerian actress Kabirah Kafidipe, widely known as Araparegangan, is currently grieving the loss of her beloved father. In an emotional Instagram post, the actress shared the heartbreaking news with her fans and followers. Accompanied by a photo of her father, she expressed her deep gratitude to the Almighty Allah and announced the passing of Alhaji Jimoh Adebowale Akanbi Kafidipe at the age of 93. He peacefully passed away at his residence after a brief illness.

During his lifetime, he held esteemed positions within the community, including being the Balogun of Ikereku Abeokuta Muslims, Bada of Oke Ona Egba, and the Alaga Adeen of Egbaland, among others. Alhaji Jimoh Adebowale Akanbi Kafidipe leaves behind wives, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

The burial arrangements, organized by the Egbaland Muslim Umahs, will take place at his residence in Ikereku Abeokuta at 4:00 PM.

The news of this significant loss has brought about an outpouring of condolences and support for Kabirah Kafidipe during this difficult time.

Nollywood actress, Doris Ogala has reacted to the recent loved-up videos shared by her colleague, Yul Edochie with his second wife, Judy Austin.

KanyiDaily recalls that the actor, who recently lost his first son with his first wife, May Edochie, has been sharing loved-up videos with his second wife on his Facebook page.

In the video, the couple could be seen singing a love song in their car, in an apparent bid to taunt those who has been criticising and speading rumours about their marriage.

Reacting on her Instagram story, Doris Ogala opined that Judy Austin might be blackmailing Yul Edochie because she finds it difficult to believe that he deliberately posted such content while his first wife, May, is still mourning.

The actress also pointed out that the videos have only been shared on his Facebook page and not on Instagram, suggesting that someone else may be handling the page.

She wrote, “Let’s get one thing straight. Why is Yul not posting on his Instagram? I doubt Yul is the one controlling that Facebook. Yul won’t be heartless. Haba. He just lost his first son. Something is not adding up.

“No, no, no. I refuse to believe Yul is the one posting those videos. He might be under blackmail. Why is he not posting on his Instagram page,” the actress added.

Davido has disclosed that at the age of 17, he landed a multimillion-naira sponsorship agreement.

He claimed he only had two songs when a cellular company offered him a N20 million endorsement deal.

In a recent interview, the ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ singer revealed this.

“I remember when MTN, a telecommunications company, came, and they were like, they want to do endorsement, but then he (dad) was like, how much, and I said 20 million,” Davido explained. I was 17. Nobody has ever seen such wealth.

“Wow, this is from Music, and of course it’s off like two songs.” ‘Daddy, see, we can do this,’ I say.

“He looked at it, built me a studio, gave me some money to run my stuff, and I did my first album, which was extremely successful.”
