A man has been spending £1,500 a month to stop ageing and says he would even consider getting frozen so he can come back in the future.

Leon Kurita-Goudlock, 36, says he believes in biohacking, a term for ‘upgrading your body’ and says he decided to take action after seeing his parents die.

He says if living forever isn’t going to work out then he will do everything to grow into old age.

Leon, who was born in the US but lives in London, said: ‘I would like to live forever.

‘My mum died when she was 70 of cancer and my dad died of cardiovascular issues when he was 86 this year.

‘At that point, why are you alive? There is nothing sadder than carrying your own parents up the stairs and giving them sponge baths.’

Leon says there are five levels of biohacking, starting from less taxing fitness and fasting to level five  which is known as futuristic biological alterations.

He says each morning he wakes up between 4am and 5am and takes time to himself to do meditation, go to the gym and drink two litres of water.

He eats between 1,500 and 1,800 calories a day between 6pm and 9pm and fasts for the rest of the day.

As a father to his daughter, Seline, one, and husband to Ryoko, 33, he doesn’t fast on the weekend and eats what he wants to have a balance.

But Leon refuses to drink during the week and only drinks four to six units of alcohol at the weekend often missing work functions because of his abstinence.

He added:

‘Lots of people want a quick and easy solution, it’s not magic and a lot of people brush off level one.

‘Fasting is the most prolific thing that I do.

‘Water fasting is when you go three to 14 days without eating and the only thing you can consume is water and salt for electrolytes.

‘I do a ten-day water fast once a year. I feel stronger than other people like I have conquered something.

Leon claims fasting helps control all blood markers and improves your cholesterol levels and cell function and allows homeostasis – biological stability- to return to the body to reverse aging.

Moving up, level two consists of different kinds of therapies such as red-light therapy, infrared therapy and taking lesser known supplements.

Leon said: ‘I take 60 pills a day and spend a few grand every month on supplements.

‘I do red light therapy once a day for 45 minutes to decrease the aesthetic stages of aging.

The father-of-one also uses cryotherapy – sitting in a freezing cold tank pumped full of liquid nitrogen and sits in ice baths for three minutes at a time to reduce the effects of aging.

Leon added: ‘I have colon hydrotherapy every six months- this is where they stick a water tube up you’re a** and clean your colon. It costs £80.

‘You would be horrified at all of the things that come out- there are days and weeks worth of faecal matter and even cysts.’

Afterwards, Leon will have a colonoscopy – a camera stuck into his rectum to ensure his bowels are healthy.

Leon said: ‘Health comes above everything including family and friends.

‘I wear the same clothes every day and I would rather have an ice bath and buy a new selection of supplements than buy new things.’

I go to Harley Street for my testing and have done a 3D scan of my heart and extensive blood work which tests for 100 biomarkers for a complete picture of my health.’

Level four of biohacking is quite advanced and involves stem cell therapy, hormone therapy, pep tides, drinking your own urine and taking prescription medication.

He added: ‘Stem cells are things that keep us young but they decrease with age.

‘There is a famous doctor in Utah who does whole body stem cell treatment.

‘The treatment which I am going to do one day costs $120,000 (£102,000) and they inject every single joint in your body with stem cells- including your private parts- to make you young again.’

‘People get embarrassed with hormone therapy, especially men, because there is a stigma if you have low testosterone your d*** doesn’t work, but it is something you should get fixed.

Biographical background

After earning his Bachelor of Arts with best honors from the State University of New York at Oneonta, he attended Harvard Law School and earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1994. After finishing his studies, he began working as an Assistant District Attorney at the office of the District Attorney for the County of New York, where he was assigned to the Sex Crimes and Domestic Violence Units.

Soon after, Smith began working in Brooklyn as an assistant U.S. attorney. There, he was in charge of prosecuting the NYPD policemen who had sodomized Abner Louima and obtaining the death punishment for Ronell Wilson for the murder of two police officers. From 2008 through 2010, he managed investigations into war crimes as part of his job in the International Criminal Court’s Office of the Prosecutor. [6] The United States Department of Justice elevated Smith to head the Public Integrity Section in 2010. (PIS). During his five years at the helm of the PIS, he oversaw the prosecution of high-profile figures such as former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell, former U.S. Rep. In 2015, Smith became an assistant U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee.
As of March 2017, he is the acting U.S. Attorney, having previously filled the role formerly held by David Rivera. The nomination of Donald Q. Cochran prompted his resignation, which took effect in September 2017. Smith was named the vice president and head of litigation at Hospital Corporation of America in 2017.

On May 7, 2018, Smith started a four-year term as head prosecutor in The Hague’s Kosovo Specialist Chambers. Allegations of war crimes during the Kosovo War, particularly those involving Salih Mustafa, are being investigated by these chambers. He was first sworn in on September 11, 2018, and was reappointed on May 8, 2022, for a total of two terms.

Investigative counsel for the United States

On November 18, 2022, United States Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Smith to the position of special counsel. The criminal investigations into Trump’s involvement with the January 6 assault on the United States Capitol and Trump’s handling and storage of secret information at his Mar-a-Lago residence have been assigned to Smith. On the 18th of November, 2022, saw the announcement of this appointment.

Two weeks ago, Burna Boy Fans shared the news about Burna Boy headlining his “Love, Damini” Stadium Tour at the 80,000-capacity London Stadium in the UK.

On the 27th of November, Burna and his team confirmed that the news is true and Burna Boy will be performing at the Iconic stadium on the 3rd of June, 2023.

A few hours after his announcement,  Wizkid took to Twitter to inform his fans that he will also be headlining his London show at the same stadium.

Although Wizkid did not reveal the date, Africa Facts Zone claims Wizkid’s concert is on the 1st of June 2023.

This new development will make Wizkid the ‘First African Artist’ to Headline the 80,000-capacity London in 2023. Although Burna Boy and his management made their announcement first, he can only beat Wizkid by changing his concert date.

Ogbonna Nwuke, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and an ally of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has criticised a spokesperson of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Senator Dino Melaye, for arrogating the powers Atiku Abubakar “doesn’t have” to the presidential candidate.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Nwuke was reacting to Melaye’s statement on the future of the aggrieved governors. Melaye had warned Governor Wike and his loyalists that ‘unfairly’ antagonising Atiku will ‘cost them their political future’.

Nwuke, a former House of Representatives member who is the Chairman of the Publicity and Communications Committee of the Rivers State PDP Campaign Council, said the G5 governors – Wike, Samuel Ortom (Benue), Ifeanyi Ugwanyi (Enugu), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) and Seyi Makinde (Oyo) – could decide who to support for the Aso Rock job.

“Except to say that malice may need to be proven by those who say any decision taken that does not support Atiku or any candidate for that matter is something to be seen as anti-party, then, I think it will be proper to wait, go slowly and try to appreciate that position when they take that position.

“The rest will fall within the realms of speculation if we were to go on without clearly seeing what action they take and how they take them,” Nwuke said.

Furthermore, Nwuke stated that Melaye should be concerned about more fundamental issues.

“Perhaps from Dino Melaye’s perspective, Atiku will then be God. Atiku is not God. He can be Dino’s God, but he cannot be God to others; in this case, the governors.

“So, I don’t know how one can arrogate to an individual such extensive qualities.

“We are talking about a presidential candidate rising to the occasion, being able to sell himself.

“I think people like Dino should not arrogate to the candidate (Atiku) the powers that he doesn’t have,” the former Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications said.

He added: “In a couple of days from now, it is obvious that the G5 will manifestly say what they want to do. I can assure you that, that will happen.”

The so-called ‘Unknown Gunmen’ perpetrating mindless killings in the South-East region on Wednesday morning burnt down the Divisional Police Headquarters in the Ihiala Local Government Area (LGA) of Anambra State.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the attack has caused tension in Ihiala community.

Casualty figures are unknown, and it is still not clear if the attackers went away with police ammunition, but the state Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident in a statement.

“Our operatives in the early hours of today 28/12/2022 engaged some gunmen who attacked Ihiala police divisional headquarters and recovers one abandoned Ak47 rifle.

“The gunmen escaped the scene due to the superior fire of the police operatives, and no casualty was recorded.

“Unfortunately, the explosives the gunmen threw inside the police station building had already ignited a fire and affected the building.

“Operation is still ongoing in the area,” Ikenga said.

The member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Samaila Suleiman, has cried out over an alleged impending demolition of his house by the Nasir El Rufai government.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Suleiman said that Governor El Rufai has revoked the Right Of Occupancy of his residence in Kawo New Extension, Kaduna.

Recall that in March, Suleiman resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The 41-year-old legislator left the ruling party following an eagle-eye interest of Governor El-Rufai’s eldest son, Bello, in his seat at the green chamber.

Now a member of the main opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Suleiman raised another allegation of intimidation.

“I am in receipt of a letter from my Governor, H.E Nasir Elrufa’i revoking the Right Of Occupancy of my residence in Kawo New Extension, Kaduna.

“We are expecting demolition any moment. We are full of strength and thankful to Allah for his continued blessings. “Power is transient. Power can flow from one person to another,” he wrote on his official Facebook page on Friday.

Workers of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has staged a protest over the non-payment of their three months salary, among others.

MAPOLY Workers Stage Protest

The workers protested on Wednesday over unpaid salaries, non-implementation of minimum wage, no promotion since 2019 and unpaid 55 months pension arrears.

The protesters singing solidarity songs had earlier made their way to the administrative block, and later blocked the entrance to the school.

The workers carried placards that read  ‘Enough of suffering and smiling’, ‘Implementation of minimum wage’ and ‘Pay our pension deduction’, while walking around the school premises in protest.

They called on the government of Ogun State to take over the running of the school, following the failure of the management of the school to live up to its responsibilities.

Speaking to newsmen, Chairman of SSANIP, MAPOLY chapter, Dada Olalekan said the workers had no future working with MAPOLY due to the manner with which the school was being administered.

Olalekan said; “The reason we are here is to demand for our entitlements.

“The management of MAPOLY is owing us three months salary from October 2022. All other institutions and government agencies are collecting minimum wage, MAPOLY has refused to implement the minimum wage. The management is owing us 55 months pension arrears.

“As I speak, nobody has a pension future here. If anybody retires tomorrow, there’s no future or pension for that person.

“The last promotion that was done in MAPOLY was in 2019; 2020 t0 2022 promotions are still in arrears, the appointment promotion has not been done since 2019, colleagues in other institution have overtaken us because of promotion and appointment.

“The government should take account of MAPOLY and start to pay us as it is being done in all other states like Oyo State.

“Oyo State has more higher institutions and they pay all their salaries before 25th of every month 100%.”

The Chairman, NASU, MAPOLY branch, Kolawole Sopade who corroborated the claim, said MAPOLY is being run like a private institution which has school fees as its only source of revenue.

Sopade said; “The salary we are talking about now, if we collect it, there is no assurance that we will collect another salary in three months based on the JAMB and NBTE quota they gave to us.

“If we enroll students now with limited quota they gave to us, and the limited school fees they are going to pay, there is no means of survival after March or April, that is why we are calling on government to come to our aide.”

KanyiDaily had also reported how Police officers staged a protest over the non-payment of their salaries for 18 months in Osogbo, Osun State capital.

 In a video gradually making the rounds on the internet, a TikToker with the username @tambile has tearfully narrated how her Nigerian parents put her through a great deal of trauma as a child. The TikToker tearfully stated that her parents "fucked her life up" by turning her into an adult as child. She revealed that her parents made her grow up too quickly by assigning her adult roles of taking care of her siblings, taking them to school and practically raising them like a mother would, even though she had been just 10 years old herself.

The TikToker stated that she had tried to let her mum know that allowing her grow up too soon is now responsible for her inability to forge personal relationships, as she keeps projecting her trauma on people. @Tambile further revealed that her father also contributed to ruining her life by constantly beating her untill she bled. She added that talking to her parents had yielded no results as did not even understand where they had gone wrong.
