New York, NY – As Drake’s “God’s Plan†single spends it fourth week at the top of Billboard’s Hot 100, apparently everything isn’t all roses for the Toronto superstar.
Following the release of the “God’s Plan†video last week, Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg questioned Drake’s intention behind the visual, which saw the 6 God give away almost $1 million to the people of Miami.
“Is it a little bit cheap to use those emotions of, ‘Look at this person in need getting something good,’ and transfer those emotions onto yourself?†Rosenberg said. “I don’t know the last time I saw a four-minute montage of ‘Look at all the nice things I do.'â€
Once Drake’s mother told him about Rosenberg’s comments, he felt inclined to call the longtime radio personality and give him a piece of his mind.
“I’ve never heard his Canadian accent that strongly,†Rosenberg explained on Thursday’s (February 22) episode of Ebro In The Morning. “Drake yelled and he was very passionate.â€

As Rosenberg described, Drake screamed, “What’s your problem with me? How did you make this a negative thing?â€
He added, “I could hear in his voice that this was very clearly the most important thing that he’s ever done. He was clearly very effected by doing something so good for people. That’s ultimately very great for the culture. But, I still would have said the video is not for me.â€
After the release of the “God’s Plan†visual on February 16, Drake called it the “most important thing†he’s ever done in his career.

On Thursday (Feb. 22), the Maryland rapper revealed the good news to fans on social media, posting the commercial on Twitter, and he seemed pretty stoked about the whole idea. "They used my song on a DragonBall commercial. I can die happy now 😈🖤✨," he captioned the clip.

Chief Ayodele Fayose, governor of Ekiti state is of the notion that corporate existence of Nigeria may never see the light of day as this is being by selective administration of justice, marginalisation, vendetta against perceived political opponents.

“A lot of people we know to be vocal have lost their voices. Some have taken cover under the beds of their wives. We are in a perilous time and I appreciate those who are still standing for the people at this time. For me I will remain a man. Some people have kept quiet because they fear that they may be persecuted. †But should we all keep quiet when people are oppressed and suppressed and blatantly marginalised? Look at the level of poverty in the country, it is sickening. The standard of living has gone down. And how do we explain a situation where some people are treated as slaves and others as princes. This country belongs to all of us. It is in serious need now and we must salvage the situation.â€
On the call for restructuring, Fayose said;
“I was moved by what the late Chief Ojukwu said many years ago and never knew his wife would be the one to present this award to me. We should go back to the basics or we are going no where. We are one and the same and no section must be marginalised,†he said.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Biebs filed on February 16th for three different entities: “The House of Drew,†“La Maison Drew,†and “Drew.†All three trademark filings are listed for the intentions of selling “clothing and wearing apparel†that could possibly entail a line of shirts, jackets, swimsuits, children’s clothing, and undergarments.
JB also reportedly filed for the “Drew†trademark twice before instance—once in 2012 and again in 2015. However, both times, the application was abandoned. Given the crooner’s rebirth of sorts, he’ll likely have a better chance of sticking to the plan time around.

Fulani Herdsmen operating in the south-east region of the country have reacted to reports of a plan to attack Anambra and Enugu states.
The group denied having any plan to attack the states, adding that they have no grudge against anybody in the South-east.
Addressing members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), South-East zone during a meeting held yesterday in Enugu, the chairman of the association in the zone, Alhaji Gidado Sadiqu, said that the members were conscious of “the negative information being spread in the country’s seemingly volatile political space to the extent that Fulani herdsmen are planning to attack Anambra and Enugu states,†urging the public to disregard it as it is just rumour.
“Fulani herdsmen have no grudges with the aforementioned states. We are in the South-east to look for greener pastures to feed our cattle. We are not here to terrorise anyone but we’re scared of people coming under the guise of Fulani herdsmen to unleash terror on our hosts.â€
The meeting was attended by representatives of the association from the five South-East states of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo.
He advised members of the association to be watchful and quickly report strange faces around them to concerned authorities, just as he urged the public to remain vigilant and not to allow anyone to destroy the peaceful co-existence they enjoy.

Chiadi Ezeibekwe, a mathematics teacher, has married his younger sister who is 17 years old. Ezeibekwe who works in a secondary school in the Aguata local government area of Anambra state said God “sanctioned†his marriage to his sister.
Among the Igbo, such marriage is viewed as an abomination. Appalled by the marriage, the youth burned down the church where brother and sister were joined.

Speaking with Vanguard, the teacher who is the sixth of 10 children said, “I am a Sabbath and in searching through the scriptures, I discovered that one could marry his sibling. So, we went ahead with the arrangement to marry my younger sister.
“God told me to marry my sister and she also saw same vision. There are places in the Bible that support such marriage. Those in doubt should read Songs of Solomon chapters 4 and 5 and 1st Corinthians Chapter 7.
“Since we took this decision, I have not felt anything unusual, or felt that I did anything wrong. In the school where I teach, many people ask me about it and I boldly refer them to the Bible.

Gabriel Ezeukwu, the traditional prime minister, said the youth had initially considered “subjecting the couple to rituals†as punishment.
He said everyone was relieved to learn that the girl is not yet pregnant.
“Before coming to me, they were considering various options, including whether to involve the police, resort to jungle justice or parade those involved round the town before subjecting them to other rituals,†he said.
