Shocker! Meet The 14-Year-Old Boy Who Claimed To Have Laid 20 Eggs. Photos by starboy247(f) : 7:31 pm On Feb 22

This is new. A teenage boy has claimed to have laid 20 eggs in the past two years, completely baffling doctors. Akmal, 14, from Gowa in Indonesia says he has been regularly laying eggs since 2016.

When cracked open Akmal’s father claims the eggs laid by his son appear to be either all yolk or all white.

The 14-year-old has been repeatedly hospitalised for his condition, and recently laid two eggs in front of doctors.

His father Rusli said: ‘In two years he laid 18 eggs and two today, so in total there have been 20. I cracked the first egg and its content was all yellow, no white.’

But doctors are baffled by his condition, saying its ‘impossible’ for eggs to form inside the human body, the Daily Star reported.

A spokesperson from the hospital said: ‘Our suspicion is that the eggs were deliberately shoved into Akmal’s rectum. But we did not see it directly.’

Akmal’s father denied this.

He told local media: ‘He never swallowed eggs whole, why would he do that?’

Doctors have quarantined the teenager to study his condition at Syekh Yusuf Hospital in Gowa.

The money loving deity the Pentecostals worship! Kenneth called me this morning rather distraught. He said that he paid 111,000 into his church account instead of 11,000 and the church has refused to refund him the balance saying the money was given to God!🙄

Here are excerpts from the call recording ;

Somebody gave me money for a project, so i went to church, where they use POS, so i wanted to pay my tithe, i wanted to pay Eleven Thousand Naira (N11,000)but i mistakenly paid One Hundred and Eleven Thousand (N111,000), and when i realised the error, i went back to them to tell them somebody sent me the money, but they (Church) told me that it is not possible to return, that they have already given the money to GOd

Man Packs Out Of His Home With Housemaid As Wife Cries Out For Help (Photos) by starboy247(f) : 11:32 pm On Feb 22

Global News

By  |

A mother of one who is visually impaired has cried out for help after being abandoned by her husband who allegedly gained custody of their only child forcefully. According to the 34-year-old woman, Margret Uko Ekanem, the husband secretly packed out of the house with their house help – with her no even knowing where he lives now..

Ifeanyi Calistus shared the sad story on Facebook. Read below;

Her name is Margret Uko Ekanem. She is totally blind. Age — 34. She has a National Diploma in Mass Communication. A native of Akwa Ibom State but resides in Port-Harcourt.

The whole Odessy started in 2009 while she was doing her one year internship with a media house in Poryharcourt. Her path crossed with that of Emeka Idika — A media Practitioner himself. The relationship led to marriage which was formalised on the 19th of May 2012 in a court registry here in Port-Harcourt.

The Union was blessed with a bouncing baby girl —- Divine by name. Emeka Idika perceived the disability of his wife as a gold – mine to gain compassion and goodwill from members of the society. Soon Car and other material supports began to come in from people who were moved by the story of his blind wife.

It appeared that Emeka had no true love for his wife. He only wanted to used her handicap to achieve certain means. He disrespected the wife and turned her into a punching bag. She abused and insulted her and even beat her up when she was nine months pregnant. Each time Margaret complained about Emeka’s shameful and amorous escapades with other women, it earned her severe beating of her life. Emeka usually called her names and warned her never to complain as it was a favour he rendered by leaving behind other beautiful and complete women to marry a blind witch like her.

Last year, Emeka secretly packed out of the house with the house help. His present residence is not known to Margret. She was abandoned all alone in a sprawling three bedroom flat. The rent of the house has already expired and the landlord had served her summon to vacate the apartment. She appealed to the landlord for time extension to enable her arrange for where to move in as she would be homeless if thrown out of the house now, but the landlord refused. In fact, the Landlords desperation to throw her out of the house was clearly shown in the manner he cut off water supply to the flat and electricity. In few days from now, Margret will be homeless. She has nowhere to go as both Mum and Dad are late.

On the month of June 2017, Emeka conspired with the daughter’s cab driver to take her away from the mother. It was a psychological blow on Margret as her daughter is her bundle of joy and consolation. She hasn’t seen her daughter again. She reported the matter to FIDA but all her efforts were frustrated by the compromised system. In her words ” They were bunch of ‘ Scammists’ who could be easily bought over by money”. She lamented that there is so much compromise, ineptitude, mediocrity, and rot in the Justice system of this country. She said she was sorry to say it but that’s facts.

Margret is therefore appealing to anyone that hears her story to help her secure the custody of her only child and to save her from a life of dependency by giving her a Job or something that can enable her attain financial independence in order to help her take good care of her daughter.

“I Became A Billionaire Even Without A University Degree” — Africa’s Richest Woman, Folorunsho Alakija by starboy247(f) : 12:31 am On Feb 23

“I Became A Billionaire Even Without A University Degree” — Africa's Richest Woman, Folorunsho AlakijaFAMFA OIL boss and Africa’s richest woman, Folorunsho Alakija shared details about her life, background and how she attained the billionaire status despite not having a university degree.

The billionaire took to Instagram to share this piece and she also opened up that she is the 8th child in her family of about 52 children.

She wrote;

“I would like to encourage you on my encounter with the Glory of God.

It happened almost 27 years ago when I gave my life to Christ at the age of 40 and my life has not been the same ever since, I pray your life too, will experience a total turn around.

I was born almost 67 years ago, into a large and illustrious polygamous Muslim family as number 8 out of 52 children through a father who had 8 wives.

Back then large families were common, but what was unusual was that I was one of the very first few Nigerian children who left it’s shores to go and study abroad at such a tender age of 7.

Even at that age, I knew I could not afford to let my family down cause I was seen as an ambassador.

My desire was to study law but my Daddy did not believe in investing in girls at that time.

Today, I have no university degree, but God’s glory lifted me up and I have received numerous Honorary Doctorate Degrees at home and abroad.

All of what you now see today has taken almost two and a half decades, so I am not an overnight success. On the contrary. Through God’s grace, I am a blood bought totally forgiven, absolutely redeemed, heaven bound child of God.

I have had to make sacrifices like everyone else, faced challenges but never given up.

I have not compromised myself, my values or my faith.

GLORY BE TO GOD.”

Buhari Reportedly Furious With Governor El-Rufai by starboy247(f) : 5:32 am On Feb 23

Governor Nasir el-Rufai

The crisis in Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) which culminated in the demolition of the factional secretariat of the party by the state government has further put a dent to the efforts by President Muhammadu Buhari to bring aggrieved members of the party on the same page ahead of the 2019 elections.

A member of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), who spoke with DAILY INDEPENDENT on Wednesday said the presidency is displeased with the actions taken by Governor Nasir el-Rufai which it believes will further worsen the APC crisis and make the work of the reconciliation panel headed by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu more difficult, if not an impossible one.

He added that the presidency believes that as someone who is regarded as one of the key loyalists of President Buhari, el-Rufai should not be seen as “a clog in the wheel of progress and developments of the party especially in Kaduna, the residence of the president”.

A source said the presidency is particularly peeved that while el-Rufai, who was persuaded to contest for the governorship position of Kaduna State by President Buhari may not bother about seeking or winning reelection, he should consider the interest of the president who will soon announce his intention to seek another four-year mandate.

He also added that just like it did in the case between Governor Umar Ganduje of Kano State and his predecessor, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidency may summon the warring parties to Aso Villa with a view to finding a lasting solution to the crisis.

“As a member of this party, I must tell you that the presidency is unhappy with what is happening in Kaduna State and what they perceived as the insensitiveness of the state governor towards handling the issues he has with his rivals in Kaduna State.

“The president has a reason for setting up the reconciliation committee headed by Asiwaju Tinubu. Given what has happened in the past, many thought the former Lagos governor will reject it but he accepted to undertake the task in the interest of the party and respect for the president. He has already set the ball in motion and is already meeting with the affected stakeholders and we are seeing the positive results.

“We expect Governor el-Rufai to have done the same no matter how provoked he may be. Yesterday’s (Tuesday) action has further widened the gulf between stakeholders in the Kaduna APC family and it will be extremely difficult for the Tinubu committee to bring them on the same page.

“The issue has gone beyond Kaduna State. Don’t forget that the National Assembly has already waded into the matter. Before you know it, this may mar all the progress we have made so far and the election is already here.

“Here is a man who never showed interest in becoming the governor of Kaduna State. The president convinced him to run and to demonstrate his commitment, he went to Kaduna and raised his hands. Recently, the governor also said the president has endorsed his bid for another term. We expect him to also support the president’s reelection bid too not just by words but through actions.

“While he may have his genuine reasons for pulling down the structure, they believe he should have exercised some restraint as such actions will not only exacerbate the crisis, but it may also affect the fortunes of the party in the state”, he said.

Cozz Shows Growth as a Songwriter on His 'Effected' Album by starboy247(f) : 6:21 am On Feb 23

Dreamville/Interscope

Most aspiring rappers view signing a deal with a major record label as confirmation that they've made it big—more like a finish line than a fresh beginning. Once the ink dries, these artists can lose the sense of hustle that landed them their spot in the first place. Luckily, J. Cole protégé Cozz doesn’t subscribe to that kind of complacency. In fact, his prowess as an artist has grown exponentially since signing with Dreamville/Interscope in 2014.

Effected is Cozz’s second full-length LP and third project to be released under the Dreamville imprint. While the technical rapping that Cozz displays on Effected is on par with the dazzling lyricism of 2014’s Cozz & Effect and 2016’s Nothin Personal, he's grown significantly as a songwriter. Whereas the past two releases rely heavily on lyrical exercises and vivid storytelling, Effected possesses replay value thanks to songs that don't get puzzlingly dense with bars. Here, Cozz delivers more with less.

Coming out of the gate swinging on “Questions,” Cozz (born Cody Osagie) inquires about the aforementioned category of rappers that abandon a true musician’s hustle: “Tell me why these niggas pride is bigger than they work ethic/Bad at they struggle, but don't hustle to earn cheddar/I work, get up early to earn the first letter/A+ effort, I know I deserve better.” The entire two-and-a-half minute track renders itself as an honest line of questioning from an artist caught between his harsh realities and impending fame.

Next up is the atmospheric, laid-back, Kendrick Lamar-assisted “Hustla’s Story,” which finds the two West Coast MCs catching parallel ambiences with slow-rolling deliveries woven through Hollywood JB’s silky-smooth beat. The way Cozz slows himself down and gently exhales his rhymes is a testament to his growth as a vocalist. Plus, the oozing “If I can't lay up in the streets I feel lonely/If I gotta break up with the streets I feel lonely” chorus make this one of the album’s catchiest cuts.

While “Hustla’s Story” possess a relaxing pace, “Ignorant Confidence” is a violent splash of cold water to the face, waking up anyone who thought of sleeping on Cozz’s bravado raps. Here, he shows off his dichotomy—a thoughtful rhymer who can lyrically spazz out with swag raps at any given moment (see: "Proof" and the merciless "VanNess" as further evidence). He's at ease on tracks like “Bout It” with Garren and “Zendaya,” a J. Cole-supported ode to the namesake Disney star. These records throw aside Cozz’s tough-guy persona and ultimately exposes the 24-year-old to vulnerability; unraveling Effected like a pages of straight from Cody Osagie's diary.

While the songwriting on Effected has been elevated, the album still lacks a widely streamable song for a mass audience to latch onto. There's no distinct track that would launch Cozz past the borders of his already-built Dreamville fanbase. That’s not to say he needs to chase after smash records that get serious spins at LIV or Magic City, but something with crossover appeal could offer a different feel to the overall tapestry.

There's no denying that Cozz can rap his ass off—that much was confirmed after one play-through of his 2014 debut. Effected, however, confirms that Cozz has more in him than just straight bars. He continues to tell his own story but through new flows, different hooks and an advanced way of making rap songs. Only time will tell if Cozz has what it takes to truly become one of the best but if nothing else, he’s putting his best foot forward.

Shocker: Woman With Stomach Bloating Discovers She’s Been Carrying 2 Sponges In Her Belly For 9 Years by starboy247(f) : 6:31 am On Feb 23

According to a report by The Sun UK, a mother who suffered persistent bloating for three years discovered she actually had two surgical sponges left inside her for up to nine years.

The 42-year-old had undergone two c-sections, one six years ago and one nine years ago.

When doctors examined her after she complained of bloating they found two masses near her hip bones.

A CT scan revealed two “hyperdense, stringy” masses, according to the New England Journal of Medicine case report.

The woman needed surgery to remove the masses which turned out to be surgical sponges covered in “thick, fibrous walls” from their time inside her abdomen.

The sponges were left behind during her c-sections, but it is not clear which one.

Dr Takeshi Kondo, from Chiba University Hospital in Japan where the woman was treated, said he believed the sponges came from the same surgery.

During a c-section doctors often use sponges in the spaces between the colon and abdominal wall, to stop the intestines getting in the way, Dr Kondo told Live Science.

Leaving surgical sponges or other instruments inside a patient’s body during a procedure is considered a “never event”, meaning it should never happen.

But some gynaecological surgeries come with a greater risk of these events occurring.

One Reportedly Killed, Another Shot As Herdsmen Attack Residents At A Farm In Delta by starboy247(f) : 6:31 am On Feb 23

Following an attack by a group of suspected herdsmen at a cassava farm in Abraka community in Delta state, one person was on Wednesday, feared killed while another is currently battling for life at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital, DELSUTH, Oghara.

According to Vanguard, the victims identified as Happy Akpomiemie and father of 11, is feared killed while his wife, Mrs. Patience Akpomiemie, was reportedly shot on the back by the herdsmen while trying to escape from the scene of the attack.

It was gathered that the bloody attack on the Akpomiemie family is coming two days after another resident of Abraka, Mrs. Patricia Okpako escaped from a group of herdsmen who attempted to rape her in her farm at Abraka.

While expressing worries that if nothing is done to stem the renewed attacks by herdsmen in the area, the member representing Ethiope East in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Evance Ivwurie said, “Am afraid we are going to resolve to self help in defending ourselves.”

Giving details on how she escaped being raped, Mrs. Okpako who said she was on her monthly flow, had to through her bloody pad on the herdsmen who insisted seeing evidence that she was menstruating when she pleaded with them earlier.

“They did not believe when I told them I was menstruating as they insisted on seeing evidence, so I brought out the bloody pad and threw it on them. In the confusing that followed, I fled and escaped,” she said.

Speaking on his ordeal, son of Happy Akpomiemie, Elvis who had accompanied his parents to the farm stated that they (him and his parents) had gone to the farm at about 4pm on Wednesday when they were accosted by the armed herdsmen with their herd.

He said: “Sensing danger, my father told me to run and that he and my mother would look for a way to escape, as soon as I started running, my mother followed but unfortunately, she was shot on the back and this was followed by three gunshots.

“I was able to run for safety and hide in the bush till 10pm before I came out to town. My mother also, was able to run to safety from where she was taken to the Abraka general hospital and subsequently referred to Oghara owing to the seriousness of her wounds.”

Condemning the incident while describing it as unfortunate and disastrous, a lawmaker, Ivwurie during a visit to the affected families, said: “It is so unfortunate that in the last two years, 12 of my constituents have been killed by these herdsmen. Today we are running to save the life of this woman while another is missing.

“I am calling on the Inspector General of Police and the Delta State Commissioner of Police to immediately send a team of policemen to Abraka in the next 24 hours to comb the area and find these culprits, else am afraid we are going to resolve to self help in defending ourselves as a people and am ready to die for this cause.”

Kodak Black Gets Gun Possession, Grand Theft of Firearm and Child Neglect Charges Dismissed by starboy247(f) : 7:21 am On Feb 23

Kodak Black has been cut some slack in his recent legal issues, as three charges against the Florida native have been dismissed.

The rapper's attorney, Bradford Cohen, reports that the State of Florida dropped three charges against him following the home raid that led to his arrest last month. The charges dismissed include possession of a weapon or ammunition by a delinquent, grand theft of a firearm, and child neglect.

According to The Blast, Kodak and his legal team wanted the charges dropped after claiming authorities could not prove that the guns or marijuana in the video were real. They also argue that artists use fake firearms and guns in promotional visuals and music videos all the time.

The charges originally stemmed after Kodak posted footage of himself on Instagram Live that featured some of his entourage members with guns and drugs, as well as the Project Baby 2 entertainer's young son walking into the room. During the raid, Kodak was taken into custody, and is being held without bail at the moment.

Reports say that he still faces four other charges including marijuana possession and possession of ammunition, and is still locked up for violating his probation.

Audio Mp3: PRhyme – Rock It

It’s been years in the making, but Royce Da 5’9” & DJ Premier’s long-awaited PRhyme 2 project is finally right around the corner. Earlier this month, the two kicked off the campaign for it by announcing its release date March 16th and sharing its lead single in the process called “Era,” which was accompanied by a music video as well. Having been relatively quiet since then, the Detroit lyricist and Houston producer decide to get back in promo mode today and share their second offering from it called “Rock It,” which can be yours for free when you pre-order the album now on iTunes.

Over some fresh scratches & production from DJ Premier, Royce delivers a sharp boom-bap record that’s filled with witty analogies and his usual slick wordplay, something fans will appreciate.

Take a listen and let us know what you think. Look for a music video to be on the way as well.

How Transparency International Corruption Report Exposed And Made Mockery Of Buhari – Reno Omokri by starboy247(f) : 8:42 am On Feb 23

Reno Omokri

A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has revealed that the latest report by Transparency International, “makes a mockery” of the African Union’s award to President Muhammadu Buhari as its anti-corruption champion.

Recall that Transparency International had on Wednesday stated in its latest corruption perception index, CPI, that Nigeria dropped from 136 in 2016 to 148 in 2017, out of the 180 countries surveyed.

Also, the African Union had honoured Buhari as its anti-corruption champion in recognition of the effort the current administration has recorded in the anti-graft war.

However, while reacting on Thursday following the release of the Transparency International report, Omokri said from the index, the AU “appears to be supporting corruption by making a man under whom corruption has increased its anti-corruption icon.”

He said, “Having made such significant progress in improving Nigeria’s anti-corruption rating, it is very disappointing that in the latest CPI index, Nigeria has relapsed deeper into corruption and has moved 12 steps backwards from 136 to 148.

“We consequently advise that timely efforts should be made to stem the free fall of Nigeria into the abyss of corruption.

“Let us also respect the judiciary and not hound or intimidate them in an attempt to cow them into giving favourable judgments against perceived political opponents.

“Let us call a spade a spade and conduct a true anti corruption war rather than an anti opposition war. The days of hand cuffs for the opposition and hand outs for the cronies of the government must be put behind us.

“It does not help that in recent years, Nigeria has refused to obey valid court judgments in Nigeria and beyond Nigeria.

“It is to the great embarrassment of Nigeria that we who used to be the pillar of the ECOWAS sub region are now routinely cited for flouting judgments of the ECOWAS court. That ought not to be at all.”
