Former Minister of Aviation cum Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Femi Fani-Kayode has blasted the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the just conducted presidential election, Peter Obi of his comment on Monday.
Peter Obi, while speaking during an interview on Arise TV’s ‘The Morning Show’ said he is not challenging the outcome of the presidential election that produced Bola Tinubu as president-elect, but he is challenging the process in a court. Taking to his official Twitter handle on Monday afternoon, Femi Fani-Kayode predicted that Obi will soon “surrender”. He described the former Anambra governor as a “confused soul” and said he was no longer making sense. Femi Fani-Kayode called on the LP presidential candidate to concede defeat, withdraw his case and congratulate Tinubu. The APC chieftain wrote, “Surrender loading! Poor confused soul, no longer making sense. “My counsel? Be a MAN, withdraw the case, concede u LOST, reign in ur foul-mouthed supporters & congratulate our President-elect.”
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that He stated this during an interview on Arise TV’s ‘The Morning Show’ while answering a question posed to him. Obi was asked to react to arguments by some clerics and prominent Nigerians that the outcome of the February 25th presidential poll was God’s wish despite reports of electoral malpractices.

Big Brother Naija season 7 winner, Ijeoma Otabor, better known as Phyna, says she wants her old life back after receiving death threats on social media.
Taking to her Instagram page, the reality star shared the message she got from a troll who wished she lost everything she had and died. The message reads, “I just wish you slum and die. You are doing more than yourself. Madam Manage me begger of love. 1 just wish everything you have now go down the drain I just hate hearing or seeing anything about you. Useless weena. Restless weena”
Reacting on her Twitter page, Phyna expressed her desire to have her old life back, stressing that all the people who hate her have won because she would take a break from doing too much. She wrote, “At this point everybody who don’t like me wins, and I’m sorry you don’t like me. I hereby say I will no longer do too much and I will take a break to allow you and those you like shine, just stop the death threats already, but the using fake account?”
In a post on her Instagram story, she wrote: “God of Mercy. I thought BBN was just a game. I’m sorry if I have offended anyone while in the house and out. Please enough of the death threats behind fake accounts. I don dey beg o.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Phyna recently revealed that God saved her from poisoning, and wondered why anyone hated her so much to the extent of killing her.

 Tragedy occurred in Sydney, Australia as a 70-year-old woman lost her life after her husband accidentally ran over her in a church parking lot. According to Mirror, the woman was dropped off at Castle Hill Baptist Church, where she led a bible study group. The husband of the woman who drove the car, was not injured in the horrific accident witnessed by another congregation member. After the woman was pronounced dead at the scene,her husband was taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing. Pastor Ian Deane told reporters that it was an “extremely tragic” accident saying, “She’s been an active member of the church and the person who witnessed it is also an active member of the church, it’s just tragic… just incredibly sad.”

Superstar musician, David Adeleke, better known as Davido has revealed he and Chioma Rowland got married during their grieving moment over the death of their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
According to Tribune Online, the singer and Chioma’s decision to wed was driven by their desire to support each other and stay strong as a family during the challenging time. Davido who dropped his highly anticipated ‘Timeless’ album on Friday, 31st March, disclosed that he faced numerous challenges in the last few months. He explained that he had to be a pillar of strength for Chioma, not only as her lover but also as her husband, in order to face their difficult situation together. “At that moment, we went through a lot together and we had to be there for each other to get through that moment and be ready for what was coming-Timeless. Now that we have crossed over that moment, it is time to show the world that I am ready for this,” Davido said. The Afrobeat sensation revealed that “Timeless” underwent at least three different phases before the final version was settled upon. Although the album features several high-energy tracks with good vibes, the singer acknowledged that grieving the loss of his son had an impact on the project. He said: “Before my son passed on, we had finished the album. A former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has queried the amount the federal government said it used to purchase 10 firefighting trucks.
The firefighting trucks, which the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika disclosed, cost a whooping N12 billion will be deployed to some airports in the country. The airports included the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, and Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano. Sirika disclosed this while presenting the 10 firefighting vehicles to the Aeronautical Rescue and Fire Fighting Services of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). Expectedly, the cost of the trucks has since caused an uproar on social media. Taking to her official Twitter handle on Monday, Oby Ezekwesili expressed shock at the cost of the trucks. Ezekwesili mocked the Aviation minister, saying for the trucks to cost that much, they must have been diamond-plated within and without. While directly not doubting whether the trucks cost that much, the former education minister said she now knows why the Due Process-Public Procurement reforms were derided. She wrote, “Hmmm?. These fire trucks must be diamond-plated within and without, Mr. Minister @hadisirika ! At official @cenbank exchange rate, each truck cost almost $2.4 million? How? “Now I know why some of your folks deride the Due Process-Public Procurement reforms. I get it now. ✍?✍?”

 The said crusader, according to some victims, said the alleged pastor told his victims that God led him to come to Ibadan from Gambia for the crusade. Abraham, the cleric, however, on the last day of the crusade, claimed that Holy Spirit directed him to tell those in attendance to submit their phones, money and other valuables only to later abscond with them. The victims who stated that Abraham the purported cleric lured them into three days of fasting and prayer, was nowhere to be found on the last day of the crusade. A victim identified as Mrs Grace Akintola, who said many widows went for the crusade because the said pastor promised to give each person a bag of rice and money. Mrs Akintola, also said that the ‘man of God’ also promised to empower students who attended the crusade with scholarship awards. She said, “The pastor approached a lady in our area to assist him to gather widows and students and that he wanted to help us. “Someone in my area invited me for the crusade. The crusader put on priest’s regalia. He even said he would buy a fully-furnished house for one of us. “The pastor equally promised some of those who attended the crusade money, the kind of money that even politicians could not give. “The last day of the crusade, he (pastor) sold a bottle of water for us at the rate of N4,800; he said that the water had been mixed with perfume and many people paid for it.” Another victim, a student of the University of Ibadan (UI), who pleaded anonymity, said that the pastor ordered them to fast for three days. He said he collected their phones so as to keep them away from them and allow them focus on prayers, unknown to them that it was a trick to get rid of their belongings. The student said, “He said no phone should ring during the programme and that was why he collected all of them. “In fact, he snapped at a lady who stood up and wanted to take his photograph and seized the phone from her.” He added that on the last day of the crusade, the pastor said he wanted to go and rest at the hotel where he had lodged. According to the student, “He (pastor) later said he wanted to go and eat inside the University of Ibadan after which we didn’t know how he escaped with our belongings. “As a man of God that he claimed to be, we respected him a lot. We didn’t know that he wanted to use the name of God to dupe us.” Meanwhile, the pastor has been declared wanted by residents of the area, as posters bearing his name and pictures have been circulated within the area to track him.
