According to the owner of Queen Ashley foundation, whose charity activities is based on hospital rounds, praying and assisting by donating some amount of money for people to pay their hospital bills, she reportedly met Tonto Dikeh's son's nanny who was reportedly abandoned after she got sick.

She revealed that she met and heard a certain Mrs Mbechi weeping profusely, on meeting her and having a chat with the helpless old woman and later found out she is King Andre's nanny, Churchill and Tonto Dikeh's son's minder.



She was rushed to the hospital and it looked like she was abandoned. The Queen Ashley foundation ended up donating hundred thousand naira to her medical bills. She is also appealing to
kind hearted Nigerians to come to rescue because she has to carry out series of test, if not she might loose her leg.

Earlier today, we brought you report of Tonto Dikeh's son's nanny being abandoned by the actress in an Abuja hospital. Though what led to the nanny being abandoned then was still unclear, however, Lailasblog has gotten the exclusive gist of what happened between the nanny, Tonto Dikeh and her husband, Mr. Churchill.

It was gathered that yesterday, Queen Ashley Foundation stumbled upon an elderly woman who was said to be abandoned at Maitama General hospital by her madam, after she developed excruciating pains on her legs from her home. The woman was discovered to be King Andrea's Nanny, living with Tonto Dikeh after she left the home with her and their son around January, when she had marital issues with her husband Mr.Olakunle Churchill.



Further inquiry from the foundation revealed that the Nanny who is a mother of 4, developed acute pain for sometime while at home but was ignored by Tonto Dikeh in their new place. Two
days ago she was helped to the hospital for treatment with her madam's knowledge, as she could not walk alone. After two days in the hospital, no assistant from anyone to pay hospital bills to commence treatment as she was not able to reach Mr Churchill, whom she had not seen since January she parked out with her Madam and the Son King Andrea to their new place of settlement.

‎Queen Ashley Foundation was on a tour to hospitals donating to patients in preparation for her Children's Day Party where she is set to feed 1,000 Children, when she stumbled on the helpless Woman at the emergency ward. The woman who was disclosed to be Mgbechi Enyinnaya was supported with N100,000 by Queen Ashley Foundation for the hospital to start up treatment, lamented bitterly of the nonchalant attitude of her madam (Tonto Dikeh) whom she always takes care of the little boy while staying together. The poor woman revealed how she borrowed N10,000 from the house-help to come to the hospital, after several efforts to make her Madam assist her with money to take care of her deteriorating health.

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State alongside his Deputy Governor Phillip Shaibu, former governor Adams Oshiomhole and Sports Minister Solomon Dalung today completed the10km Okpekpe Road Race in 86.4 minutes to fulfill his promise to run for We Care Trust Charity.

Speaking after the race, Governor Obaseki said he would set up a sport commission backed up by the law to reposition sporting activities in the state.

He said: " The focus is strictly in ensuring that there is development of sports in Edo State.  I decided to run for orphanage. We have more than 30 of them in Edo State. Some chose to run for cancer to raise money for the cure, some students of AAU decided to run against cultism."

It was this same date, May 14th last year that we honored two police officers who intercepted a cowardly suicide bomber forcing him to detonate his bomb at the gate of the Borno state Government secretariat in Maiduguri. Their names were never mentioned, the nation was never able to give personalized thanks.

The brave security officer and soldier who saved our children and teachers at University of Maiduguri won't be called heroes. Their names would not even be mentioned. I doubt the state or federal government will write the late guard's name down in a permanent official record and reach out to his family to thank them; talkless assure them of some form of support for their upkeep.

The security man is our unsung hero. Many like him have passed and many more perhaps will. Making the ultimate sacrifice to save our families, our children, our institutions. They are not governors who get mention in the news in spite of opening our schools and risking our kids when the education boards warned them not to.

They are not presidents who get celebrated for negotiating with terrorists, fixing a price to pay them from the nation's coffers, and freeing terror masterminds. No, these are not the owners of Nigeria PLC, whose names we are made to remember in spite of their chokehold on our lives. These are mere men. Men who die to capture bad guys we pay to release.

Michelle Obama will carry no placard for these and nor will Melania Trump. The world's headlines are not made of these. But once again, I will celebrate them. ENDS will celebrate them. Our headlines here, wherever this article is published will sing their praise. And though we do not know their names, we praise and pray for them and tell their families; their ultimate sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has said that contrary to insinuations in some quarters, he does not intend to be President when the Republic of Biafra was eventually actualized.

Kanu told Vanguard that he always preferred to operate from the background, pointing out that if the pioneer leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Chief Ralph Uwazurike had remained consistent with the struggle, he would not be doing what he is doing with IPOB.

Insisting that the actualization of a Republic of Biafra was a foregone conclusion, the IPOB leader said he also sympathized with the South East governors and some other political office holders’ position on Biafra, attributing it to their fear of losing their positions and political relevance in Nigeria.

He, however, said the fear being entertained by such Igbo leaders was neither here nor there because the Biafra Republic would be founded on the principle of justice, equity and fairness.

He was also happy that some Igbo leaders were already identifying with the struggle and encouraged them to remain steadfast.

He said: “I am into this struggle because of leadership vacuum. I am into this struggle because my people are suffering; they are being denied their rights and privileges and nothing will stop this fight. I want to assure our people that we are almost there.

“The Biafra Republic is almost here with us. Even if one is from Sokoto, he can be a Biafran once he believes in our value system of equity, justice and fairness.

“Biafra will be a home for all people who agree with our values, whether you are from Kano or Sokoto.It will be a place for good things for good people. Therefore, those who are distancing themselves from the Biafra struggle will regret it. If you don’t join the struggle, you will be irrelevant in the end because Biafra Republic is sure.”

Kanu described Afaraukwu -Umuahia where his father is the traditional ruler as being part of the headquarters of Biafra where the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu had the popular Ojukwu bunker and operated from till the end of the Biafra war, adding that there was therefore no way he would abandon his father’s land which served Biafra in time of need.

A married boxer was allegedly robbed of his $40K watch while 'celebrating' losing a fight in a hotel room with a group of scantily clad women. Mexican boxer Julio César Chávez partied with the women until the early hours of the morning after losing the match against Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas, his wife claimed.

The footage shows Julio apparently celebrating his loss as the women recorded their antics on Monday night.

Chávez 's wife Frida told ESPN that she believed he was the object of 'a trap' and had his $40,000 watch (£30,936), a cheque for $3million, and his phone stolen.

The cheque was reportedly found later in their hotel suite.

Frida said they had met the women who appear in the videos down in the lobby bar that evening.
She said she had a beer but then left as they'd left their daughter Julia with a friend upstairs and she didn't want to leave her any longer.

The case of the missing watch is reportedly being investigated and the boxer is taking legal action.
