COVID-19 : ‘Abia Lives Matter’- Prof. Ibe by Stooi76(m) : 4:08 pm

Against the backdrop of the recent spike in confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Abia, citizens of the state have been enjoined to commit their cares, fears and affairs to God in order to attract divine provision and protection, while still observing all safety measures prescribed by health professionals.

This was made known by the Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu, Prof. Gregory Ibe while interacting with some Abia based Journalists via Skype.

According to Prof Ibe, ”the well-being of every Abian matter to God, which is why we must entrust our cares to him at all times, especially during this dangerous period of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“Therefore, in the face of the rising demographic trend of confirmed cases in our state,i counsel all Abians to be more safety conscious while assuming direct responsibility by adjusting their lifestyles in conformity with COVID-19 protocols”.

IGBERE TV recalls that Prof Ibe had at the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic pioneered the delivery of diverse levels of philanthropic interventions targeted at different groups in the state, including donation of large quantity of foodstuffs, test kits, digital infra red thermometers, ambulances, fumigation services and hand sanitizers.
