According to Roy, Wizkid actually gave Ahmed the #10 million he promised him 4 years ago. He disclosed that Wizkid did more than giving him the money, He kept Ahmed in one of the best schools in Lagos (Caleb secondary school) and got his parent a new apartment.

Roy further added that Ahmed is just an ingrate who smoked weed and finally got expelled from school.

“Ahmed is an Ingrate, Wizkid gave him more than N10Million and put him in one of the best schools in Lagos (Caleb) also got him and his parents a new apartment and furnished it, but ahmed was busy smoking Igbo up and down and was into g**ng stuffs and that was why he got Expelled from Caleb”.

Prince Andrew may have been stripped of his Royal Highness title, but his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, will remain a duchess.

Friends made clear last night that she will continue to be known as Sarah, Duchess of York despite her former husband being cast out of the Royal Family.

One of her associated said: ‘That has been her title since their divorce and that is how it will stay. Andrew is still the Duke of York, so it is not an issue.’

Andrew became Duke of York, a title traditionally granted to the monarch’s second son, on his marriage to Fergie in 1986. It is a title of particular significance as it was held by both the Queen’s father, George VI, and her grandfather, George V.

The duchess, 62, is allowed to continue styling herself as Sarah, Duchess of York until she marries someone else, at which point she would lose her title.

The couple’s daughters, Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and HRH Princess Eugenie will keep their Princess and Royal Highness titles. Although they tend to be known as Beatrice and Eugenie York in their professional lives, their royal titles are always used in official bulletins such as the Court Circular.

Sarah Ferguson’s Twitter identity is SarahTheDuchess and she has often used her title on the cover of books she’s written.

US President, Joe Biden has predicted Russia "will move in" to Ukraine, citing existential concerns by the country's president, Vladimir Putin, but says Russia will regret and face consequences if they invade their neighbor .



This comes as Ukraine and Russian officials have been meeting with Biden's top diplomat as Russian troops amass on the country's border


Russia has also deployed thousands of troops to Belarus, which shares a border with Ukraine too.


Biden vowed serious economic consequences on Russia should Putin send his troops over the frontier, including restricting its financial transitions in US dollars, he suggested Western nations were not in agreement on what to do should Russia carry out a much smaller violation of Ukraine's territory.


"It's one thing if it's a minor incursion and we end up having to fight about what to do and not do," Biden told reporters at an East Room news conference on Wednesday, January 19.


"But if they actually do what they're capable of doing with the forces amassed on the border, it is going to be a disaster for Russia if they further invade Ukraine."


Later, asked to clarify what he meant by "minor incursion," Biden said he drew the line at "Russian forces crossing the border, killing Ukrainian fighters"


"I think that changes everything," Biden said.


"But it depends on what he does, to what extent we'll get total unity on the NATO front."


"It's very important that we keep everyone in NATO on the same page. That's what I'm spending a lot of time doing, and there are differences," he went on.


"There are differences in NATO as to what countries are willing to do, depending on what happens."



The White House tried to explain Biden's remarks by pointing out a Russian attack in cyberspace or through paramilitary forces would prompt a reciprocal response compared to a scenario where Russian troops move from their positions into Ukraine.



"President Biden has been clear with the Russian President: If any Russian military forces move across the Ukrainian border, that's a renewed invasion, and it will be met with a swift, severe, and united response from the United States and our Allies," press secretary Jen Psaki wrote in a statement.


"President Biden also knows from long experience that the Russians have an extensive playbook of aggression short of military action, including cyberattacks and paramilitary tactics," Psaki went on.

A group under the aegis, Northern States Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) have pledged their support to Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi as Nigeria’s president in 2023.

Rev. Yakubu Pam, the leader of the association, pledged their support when he led some delegates on a courtesy visit to the governor at the Kogi Government House lodge on Monday in Abuja.

He said that they are reckoning with the governor based on his godly qualities and achievements in Kogi, describing him as a man of integrity.

Pam who was represented by Rev. Fr. Andrew Dodo, a member of the association, said that they would continue to pray for the governor to become Nigeria’s president in 2023.

He described the group as a progressive oriented body with the fundamental aim of enhancing developmental issues that have to do with human lives.

“The association gives priority to worthy politicians who adequately and sincerely represented the interest of the people regardless of their faith, colour, origin and language.

“One of the greatest burdens of leadership is the distribution of wealth for the purpose it was made for.

“We have seen you effectively manage resources and can testify that you are a man of integrity and the kind of people that our group can reckon with.

“We have seen in you a de-tribalised Nigerian, a great friend of the poor, a man with the fear of God, a peacemaker, a man that is so close to the youths.

“The name Yahaya rings a bell in the political spectrum today due to your track record,” Pam said.

Responding, Bello commended the association for the visit and for appreciating his administration’s modest achievement.

He ascribed his achievements to God, adding that he would continue to embark on programmes and projects that would continue to uplift the people of Kogi and Nigeria.

The governor advised Nigerian youths to be involved in politics so that the country could produce more young governors and the youngest president in 2023.

“I wish that come 2023, we will have younger governors in this country and of course, produce the youngest president by the grace of God.

“It is only someone that does not appreciate God Almighty that will ascend to this office today and will be carried away by the distractions of the office and not stick to the will of God.

“If you stick to the will of God, integrity, honesty, equity, fairness and justice will always guide your way and that is exactly what we are exhibiting in the office.

“I will continue to engage in programmes and projects that will satisfy the people of Kogi,” he said.

Bello who claimed that the state was hitherto against itself in terms of tribes/ethnicity and religious differences, said that he made all of these a taboo.

“We ensured that we adequately accommodated both Muslim and Christian in our administration; today, Kogi has not witnessed any major religious crises since I assumed office,” he said.

The suspect, Herry Wirawan surrounded by the authorities

An Islamic boarding school teacher who was found guilty of having unlawful carnal knowledge of thirteen students and impregnating nine of them in Indonesia has been sentenced to life imprisonment.

The judge said that teacher Herry Wirawan had sexually groomed the 13 girls, who were between 12 and 16 years old, and impregnated at least nine of his victims, some of whom suffered injuries from the r*pe.

The case was concluded in court today with the man being sentenced.

'Wirawan was proven guilty...of the crimes of purposely committing violence, forcing intercourse on more than one victim repeatedly,' Judge Yohannes Purnomo Suryo Adi told the court in the city of Bandung in West Java.

Wirawan pleaded guilty and apologized to his victims and their families during the trial. His lawyer, Ira Mambo, said he would speak to his client about whether to appeal the verdict.

The teacher was accused of r*ping at least 13 students between the ages of 11 and 14 from 2016 to 2021 at the school, in hotel rooms or at rented apartments, according to the indictment.

At least nine babies reportedly were born as the result of the r*pes.    

Indonesian officials, including the country's child protection minister, backed calls for the death penalty, though the country's human rights commission, which opposes the death penalty, said it was not appropriate.

Wirawan arrived in court in handcuffs and kept his head down as the judge sentenced him. The court said restitution for the victims will be paid by the government.

The chairman of Indonesia's Child Protection Commission said Tuesday's verdict meant 'justice for the victims has been served'.

But a family member of one of the victims told AFP news agency he was 'very disappointed' that Wirawan did not receive a harsher sentence and warned that leniency would embolden other abusers.

'This wound will never be healed as long as we live, maybe until we die. The pain we are feeling is indescribable. We don't feel heard,' said Hidmat Dijaya, an uncle of one of the 13 victims.

'If the sentence is lenient like this, there will be more Islamic teachers who will abuse children,' he added.

'We will let God as the highest judge punish him. We can only pray because those judges failed to represent our hurt and pain.'

Dedeh Marlina, a 42-year-old housewife living near the school where Herry taught, said she was relieved the perpetrator had been stopped but that the damage had been done.

'I know most of them came from poor families in remote areas...unfortunately they are now carrying the burden of what happened,' she said.

The case drew a public outcry over the number of r*pes and the length of time they occurred.

Officials said many of the victims did not report their r*pes for fear of having to relive the traumatic experience, and their parents had trusted that the boarding school was guiding their children to become good and religious people.

West Java police began to investigate the case and arrested Wirawan last May when the parents of a victim went to the police after their daughter returned home on a holiday and admitted she had just given birth.

The three-judge panel at Bandung District Court convicted Wirawan of violating the Child Protection Law and Criminal Code.

They also ordered the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection to pay 331 million rupiah ($23,200) in combined compensation requested by the victims and between $600 and $6,000 for medical and psychological treatment for each girl.

'The defendant deliberately committed violence and obscene acts,' Presiding Judge Yohannes Purnomo Suryo Ali said. 'Instead of educating his students, he resorted to violence or threats of violence to force children to have sexual intercourse with him.'

The judges also ruled that nine children born to the victims should be handed over to the Children and Women Protection Agency with periodic evaluation 'until the victims are mentally ready to care for their children, and the situation allows for their children to be returned to the victims.'

The Nigeria Football Federation has described as ‘unfortunate’ the incident that saw players and officials of the Super Falcons delayed for over three hours at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on arrival from Abidjan on Thursday morning.

According to the NFF General Secretary, Dr Mohammed Sanusi, the team was delayed due to COVID-19 protocols, adding that the situation was beyond the NFF.

He, however, said the NFF had apologised to the players and officials over the incident.

This was contained in a statement titled, ‘NFF says airport incident ‘unfortunate’,’ shared on the verified Facebook page of the NFF on Thursday.

Sanusi was quoted as saying, “It was an unfortunate incident because we had our protocol officers on the ground at the airport and they did the needful before the team arrived. We are a responsible organisation and the various National Teams have been going out and returning to Nigeria since these COVID-19 protocols, procedures and guidelines started. We have never been caught napping.

“The issue had to do with COVID-19 protocols and we had no control over how things would be approached by the officials in charge at the airport each time. In this particular case, we fulfilled our part of the requirements. However, some other group of individuals arrived at the same time as the Super Falcons’ contingent and were bent on circumventing the process, and this compelled the health officials to adopt stern measures and even lock up some of their offices.

“It was beyond us, but we have already apologised to our players and officials over this incident.”

Mr. Bruce Fein should recall that he wasn’t in the first place appointed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s International Spokesperson/Legal Representative by this trail blazing IPOB Lead Counsel – Sir Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Esq whom he today, is trying to castigate and defame because of little token of fifty thousand dollars offered to him every trip he made to Nigeria by these infamous Umuada highway in USA and that thing in Finland claiming to be unfortunate deciple.

After this unsuccessful move to set up a govt in exile the grudges against Sir Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor began to take form.

These traitors in America and infiltrator in Finland thought that our Legal Representatives were the ones who stopped their gimmicks and antics, without knowing that IPOB have surpassed government in exile.

The powers conferred on Mr. Bruce Fein by our Leader vide the IPOB Lead Counsel is to be exclusively exercised in the United States of America and other foreign jurisdiction, with the exclusion of Nigeria.

Pertinent to note is the fact that Mr. Bruce Fein set his feet in Nigeria shortly after the abduction and extraordinary rendition of our Leader vide the invitation letter extended to him by our Lead Counsel – Sir Ifeanyi Ejiofor, which visa issued in respect thereof still subsist till date.

Several attempt to visit our leader either in Court or the DSS facility by Mr. Bruce Fein were all rebuffed by both the DSS and the Court respectively. All formal correspondences towards making those visits feasible were exclusively handled by the IPOB Lead Counsel.

We however, observed that Mr. Bruce Fein started avoiding our Lead Counsel after our Lead Counsel declined to cooperate with him in getting our Leader to sign a totally strange document that could have negatively impacted on the status quo.

From that moment, Mr. Bruce Fein pitched tent with sworn enemies and detractors of our struggle. No wonder he is today, ranting from a foreign land.

The general public is hereby, respectfully urged to disregard Mr. Bruce Fein’s claims as they are baseless because he is being induced into ranting this infamous statements. We reiterate that the IPOB leadership have implicit and unshaken confidence in our erudite teams of lawyers, who have creditably distinguished themselves as a sound and indefatigable advocates.

Mr. Bruce Fein is advised to focus on the international briefs provided to him to handle on behalf of our Leader, which we have not seen any tangible results since he started handling them in the USA and desist forthwith from further defaming our amiable Legal Luminary. IPOB appreciate and love his commitment and focus in handling our leader’s and our case.

The IPOB Lead Counsel has since taken to court, the authors of the libellous publication, upon whose original defamatory publication Mr. Bruce Fein relied on.

We therefore, appeal for calm while the court decides.

Let good conscience and wise counsel prevail.

Kanye West has reportedly hired Hollywood Unlocked blogger Jason Lee as his new media manager.

According to sources, the rapper has sought help from the website’s frontman to manage his public image and broker deals, after a string of outbursts in the wake of his divorce from estranged wife Kim Kardashian.

The hiring may come as a surprise to many after Jason was forced to apologise after Hollywood Unlocked falsely claimed that The Queen had died.

A source told The Sun: ‘Now Jason is working for him in the role of a media manager, helping broker deals and he is in charge with his public image.

‘From the outside it seems totally strange to take him on, especially after what happened with the Queen.

‘But he wants to be surrounded by people who know how the media game works and reckons he shares a vision with Jason.’

Last month Jason was forced to apologise after his website shared an report claiming that The Queen had passed away, days after Buckingham Palace confirmed she’d tested positive for Covid.

He originally stood by the site’s claims, writing: ‘We don’t post lies and I always stand by my sources. Waiting for an official statement from the palace.’

In a now-deleted tweet, the outlet later shared a statement that read: ‘It was an accident and we’re working hard to make sure that this mistake never happens again. The intern journalist was misinformed and published the draft post by mistake,

Lee himself also posted: ‘Although I’ve never been wrong when breaking a story because this involves The Queen this is one time I would want to be.

‘And based on Wednesday’s report from the Palace, I can say my sources got this wrong and I sincerely apologise to The Queen and the Royal Family.’

Abubakar Malami

Abubakar Malami, Nigeria’s Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, has denied exonerating a suspended police officer, Abba Kyari.

The AGF made the clarification on Sunday through spokesman Umar Gwandu.

The minister noted that there appears to be a “misunderstanding” regarding the issue.

He said the case was in progress and that his office only requested “further probe in relation to some aspects of the investigation”.

Malami maintained that “no conclusion has been reached in the direction of the absence of evidence relating to the First Report”.

“The issues were raised for further investigation with a view to cover the field in the investigation in order to arrive at an informed decision”, the statement explained.
