Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez was pictured wearing a Manchester United jersey in a leaked photo on Sunday, confirming what we already know about the Chilean’s move to Old Trafford.

A transfer move that hasn’t gone too well with Arsenal fans, with a section of supporters pointing out that manager Arsene Wenger’s lack of ambition led to his imminent departure.

And that is true and this is also precedent. Arsenal are losing a fighter; a highly influential lad in the squad who produced great goals for fun. His exit is reminiscent of Robin van Persie’s bitter move to Manchester United in 2012.

In a strange twist of fate, Arsenal will actually be fine without Sanchez, at least for now.

This current Arsenal squad is strong enough to win the Premier League and are barely 2-3 players from a world class team, however, Arsene Wenger is NOT the man to bring out the best in them, as his archaic method in this new school style of football sandwiched with massive spending, is just NOT WORKING.

Alexis Sanchez Sadly Became The Villain 

The pressure on Alexis Sanchez to produce scintillating performances week in and out meant this gunners side were relying on the attributes of the Chilean to give goals, with star Midfielder Mesut Ozil tasked to assist him.

However, Sanchez’s ‘sulking attitude’ when the going gets tough provoked discontent in the Arsenal squad, with many first team players begging the manager to sell him.

Moreover, Arsene Wenger’s style of play must carry every player along in the squad, that eventually made Alexis the ‘bad egg’ in the squad.

Sanchez wants to do it all alone, a pattern that is queer with the way Arsenal set up.

On Saturday, Arsenal were 4 goals up inside the first 23 minutes against Crystal Palace, producing a fiery display to record their first victory in 2018. Their former talisman, Alexis Sanchez was on a plane to Manchester.
