The unveiling of pay TV operator, TStv Africa on Sunday night, October 1, has come as a welcome relief to many Nigerians who believe DSTV has been milking them.

One of the major arguments against DSTV is that whether you make use of your subscription or not, it keeps running and you would have to re-suscribe once it expires. Nigerians want it to be a Pay Per View service.

So as to provide a smooth take-off for TStv Africa, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed at the unveiling ceremony said the Federal Government has granted a 3-year tax relief to the newly inaugurated Pay TV operator as well as tax-freeTSTV dividends to all investors in the company.

TStv Africa is a wholly owned Nigerian Pay TV operator with refined offerings of novel Unclassified Pay Per View subscription and complimentary internet services.
