The Mi A1, Xiaomi’s first Android One smartphone, is now on sale in India. It’s available on the company’s online store and Flipkart as well as at various offline retailers: Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C, LOT, UniverCell, E-Zone, Croma, and Vijay Sales. The device will set you back Rs. 14,999 and can be yours in black or gold.

As a refresher, the Mi A1 was officially announced a week ago and really does offer good value for money. It’s a mid-range handset that sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset. It has 4 GB or RAM and 64 GB of storage that you can expand with a microSD card in case you need more.

One of the main features of the device is its dual-camera setup on the back with a 12 MP wide-angle and 12 MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. Additionally, the setup allows you to capture those fancy bokeh images that have a blurred background.

The smartphone also comes with a 5 MP selfie snapper, a 3,080 mAh battery, and a metal body. Of course, as this is an Android One smartphone, it ships with a stock version of Google’s OS on board — Nougat. So if you like Xiaomi devices but aren’t a big fan of its MIUI user interface, this is the one you should get.
