Henry: PSG Must Show UCL Hunger by sarah(f) : 5:55 pm

Thierry Henry says the only thing the fearsome attacking trio of Paris Saint-Germain will be judged on is their performance in Europe.

Paris Saint-Germain are the only club with a perfect record, after five matches won, with their recent victory a 5-1 thrashing of Metz.

Mbappe, who recently joined the squad scored in the match , which was his debut . Henry, however, believes their domestic exploits will count for nothing, if they cannot be a success in Europe, especially after splurging in the transfer window.

“Neymar and Mbappe joining PSG is great for the French league. It will raise the profile massively,” Henry wrote in The Sun.

“If you had told me that would happen at the start of the summer, I would have said, ‘Are you mad?’ It is crazy.

“There will be a lot of pressure, though, because they have joined the group of teams who are judged on whether they win the Champions League.

“That is what you must expect at a big side.”
