Success Nwogu, Ilorin

A  professor at the University of Texas,  United States, Prof. Toyin Falola, has urged tertiary institutions in the country to address contemporary issues.

He identified the issues to include digital divide, global warming, job sourcing, new technologies and changes in international trade.

He spoke on Monday at the first distinguished lecture series of the Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Ilorin, Kwara State.

The lecture was entitled, ‘Contemporary issues in the management of higher education in Nigeria.’

Falola noted that the acquisition and use of modern technologies had become  non-negotiable in changing the way in which knowledge was imparted and research conducted.Copyright PUNCH.
