Chelsea Boss Conte Threatens Van Dijk’s Potential Kops Move

Reports filtering out from the camp of Premier League Champions Chelsea suggest Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will sign four more players this summer and top on his wish list is Liverpool target  Virgil van Dijk, according to Sky Sports.

Virgil van Dijk is believed to be seeking a move away from Southampton even though The Saints are unwilling to sell. A potential move to the Merseyside outfit had been complicated by a so-called tapping up row and now Manchester City and Chelsea who are gearing up for a jam-packed season of domestic and continental fixtures are strongly linked a move for the Dutchman.

Sky Sports say Chelsea are chasing Juventus left-back Alex Sandro. Juventus are reluctant to sell because they’ve already sold Leonardo Bonucci and they are offering Sandro a new contract.

The Blues are going to have to go to £60m to have any chance of getting Sandro. Other full-backs they’re interested in are Southampton pair Ryan Bertrand and Cedric Soares.

Chelsea tried to sign Fernando Llorente in January and they are trying to get the Swansea striker again. Conte knows Llorente well having worked with him at Juventus.

Another player Conte likes is Antonio Candreva. The Inter Milan winger can play as a wing-back and Conte tried to sign him in January. He’s 30 now and Inter wouldn’t let him leave for less than £20m. His agent says there is an 80% chance of Candreva staying at Inter.
