Breaking News: Sunday Igboho Returns to Nigeria for Mother's Burial by starboy247(: 4:00 am

Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has returned to Nigeria. His spokesperson, Olayomi Koiki, confirmed this via a statement on Thursday, February 22, along with a video showing Igboho at a location believed to be a mortuary.

According to Koiki, Igboho came back to the country for the final burial of his late mother, Mrs. S.A. Adeyemo. The statement clarified that Mrs. Adeyemo's body was retrieved from a mortuary in Saki Town.

Sunday Igboho had been out of Nigeria since 2021 after being declared wanted by the Department of State Services (DSS). He was apprehended by security forces in Benin Republic while allegedly attempting to flee to Germany, following accusations of arms stockpiling—a claim he vehemently denies.

After two years of legal proceedings in Benin, Igboho disclosed in October 2023 that he was free to leave Cotonou for Nigeria and other countries.
