Fuji music icon Saheed Osupa, popularly known as Akorede Babatunde Okunola, opens up about the hurdles he encountered while pursuing a degree at the age of 54. Osupa, who recently achieved this remarkable academic feat, shares a candid reflection on his journey, aiming to break the stereotype that learning has an age limit.

In a Facebook post, Osupa reveals that his decision to pursue a degree in political science was driven by a desire to enhance his intellectual capacity and avoid any form of segregation. Initially smooth sailing, challenges emerged at the 300-level, where the focus shifted to extensive writing. Despite contemplating quitting, Osupa adjusted and adapted to the demands.

To ensure success, the Fuji maestro went above and beyond, employing two lecturers for a specific course before his graduation. Undeterred by the difficulties, Osupa outlines his ambitious plans to attain a master's and PhD within the next five years, intending to validate his PhD title in America, where he currently resides.
