Lagos State Governor Gives Traders in Agege 2-Day Notice to Vacate Train Tracks by starboy247(: 4:00 am

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has issued a stern 2-day ultimatum to traders operating on the train tracks in Agege. This directive came after the governor's visit to the Agege Station of the Red Line Rail on September 27. Addressing the traders during his visit, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the train tracks are designated for transportation and not for market activities. He warned the traders that all goods, including chickens, would be removed in the coming week, as it is essential to ensure the safety of residents once the train service becomes operational, with trains scheduled to pass every 10 minutes. The governor emphasized the importance of preventing any potential accidents and stated that he would take measures to block access to the tracks for market activities.
