Furthermore, his unpublished work, "Little Wizard of Okokomaiko," was honored with the 2009 ANA/Lantern Prize for Fiction, further solidifying his reputation as a gifted storyteller. Notably, his novel "Prodigals in Paradise," published in 2016, was shortlisted for the esteemed 2016 ANA Prose Prize, further affirming his prowess in the literary realm.
