Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the just concluded general elections, Atiku Abubakar has claimed he won the polls and will seek redress at the Supreme Court even though he has no confidence in the court.

Atiku Abubakar finished second at the polls behind Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) stated this during a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday.

According to Atiku Abubakar, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ran a grossly flawed poll that was one of the worst in the democratic era.

He described the country’s apex court as one that he has no confidence will give him justice.

“You must remember that I took my boss, a sitting president to Court 11 times, trial court up to Supreme Court, I swear I never saw any judge,” he said.

The Adamawa-born politician said all through the court process, the courts ruled against him.

“Do you think it’s possible today to do it?” he posed.

“I got judgment at the trial court, I got judgment at the appeal Court and I got judgment at the Supreme Court, so, I cannot say whether it’s the same Supreme Court until I test them,” he said.

Atiku was vice president under ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo between 1999 and 2007.

The relationship between the two was said to be frosty, which many observers believe, is the reason Obasanjo had most of the time, not supported Atiku all times he aspired for Aso Rock’s number one seat.
