SYNW CONGRATULATES KHALID IMAM AT 50

The President of the Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW), Wole Adedoyin has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Khalid Imam, a celebrated teacher, poet, bilingual playwright, essayist, and President of All Poets Network (APNET). As he turns 50, members and EXCOS of the Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) reflect on his remarkable contributions to the literary world, both locally and internationally.

Khalid Imam was born in Kano, Nigeria, and raised in a family with a strong literary background. He is an alumnus of Bayero University, Kano and honed his skills as a writer, developing a style that blends cultural and personal experiences. He is well-known for his works in both English and Hausa languages, which have been published in several local and international journals.

As a teacher, Khalid Imam has been instrumental in promoting the love for Hausa language and literature among students. His unique teaching style and passion for writing have inspired many young people to embrace the power of words. His work has also been instrumental in raising awareness about the importance of bilingual education and the need to preserve local languages.

Khalid Imam's works are a testament to his talent and versatility as a writer.
