You would recall on the 2nd of January, social media users were exchanging reports that Teni was almost kidnapped when she went to perform in Rivers State. Concerned fans took to Twitter to pray for Teni and her safe return to Lagos.Reacting to the reports, Teni revealed that it wasn’t an attempted kidnapping. According to her, a fight broke out backstage and it led to a stampede after gunshots were heard. She added that it all happened so fast but she is glad her team and herself weren’t hurt.
