Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy make Barack Obama’s 2020 summer playlist by dimexy247(m) : 9:21 pm

Singer Davido has made former US President Barack Obama’s 2020 summer playlist alongside Afrobeat singer Burna Boy and Wizkid.

In a social media post on Monday evening, Obama shared the songs he had been listening to all summer.

He wrote: “Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time listening to music with my family. I wanted to share some of my favorites from the summer––including songs from some of the artists performing at this week’s @DemConvention. As always, it’s a mix of genres that travels through various eras. I think there’s something in here for everybody––hope you enjoy it.

Wizkid’s ‘Smile’ which was released last month was at No. 15 featuring American Grammy winner H.E.R

Davido and Tems made the list for their feature on the remix of Khalid and Disclosure’s ‘Know Your Worth’.

American RnB singer Beyoncé also made the list with ‘Already’ from her new album Black is King.

Others in the collection are Rihanna, Bob Marley, OutKast, Nas, J. Cole, Nina Simone and Frank Ocean among others. Eilish, Leon Bridges, The Chicks, Common and Jennifer Hudson who also made the list are scheduled to perform at the ongoing national convention of the Democratic Party.

Mavin Records singer Rema was the last Nigerian who made Obama’s favourite songs of 2019 with his single ‘Iron Man’.
