JUST IN!!! CP Okon Lauds ABN TV Over Fairness And Objectivity In News Reportage (Photos) by sweethoney12(f) : 11:47 pm

As part of its corporate social responsibility, a leading online newspaper and television, ABN TV have donated reflective jackets to Abia state police command in efforts to drive effective service delivery in the state especially in enhancing the free flow of traffic.

Receiving the items, the Commissioner of Police Abia State Command, CP E. Ene Okon expressed gratitude to the news medium for the kind gesture.

According to the police chief, for the first time in a long while, he is seeing a media outfit offering support to the police, assuring that the items will be utilized for the overall good of all road users in the state.

CP Okon also commended ABN TV for its fairness and objectivity in news reportage, calling on others to emulate them.

“I have been following ABN TV for some time now. Let me be a bit modest. Their reportage of the activities of this police command is well noted. And I cherish their balanced investigative reports and I take time to read their report about the command. I commend you for that and urge you to keep it up” he said.

He also expressed the readiness of the command under his leadership to reduce criminal activities to the barest minimum and ensure that indigenes and residents sleep with their eyes closed.

In his comment, Director ABN TV, Ifeanyi Okali said the medium will continue to offer the needed support to the command especially in reporting its activities to enable the public to know their efforts in controlling crime in the state.
