Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 elections, on Tuesday met with Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), in New York. A Nigerian senator has sparked online rage after he was caught on camera physically assaulting a woman at an s*x toy shop in Abuja. The senator reportedly Nigeria’s youngest senator, Elisha Abbo, representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, beat the woman up just because she begged him not to descend on the shop owner whom the senator accused of insulting him.
Activist, Shehu Sani has commented on the failure of the federal government to implement the minimum wage increase as it promised to workers. Shehu Sani, the former Nigerian Senator has compared Nigeria’s minimum wage to a piece of meat. In a Tweet, he referred to it as “Dangling meatâ€.The minimum was signed by President Buhari in April and he promised that it will be paid before workers day. However months after, the new minimum wage has not been implemented.
