Nigerian Senator representing Kogi Central Dino Melaye has put his writing skills to use as he petitions several agencies both nationally and internationally over the several alleged threats on his life and his office.

The Senator who has become quite a sensation on the internet has recounted on many occasions in this past year that there is an incessant attempt to take his life by people from his state.

On many occasions the aggrieved Senator has mentioned the governor of his state Yahaya Bello who is now seen and considered his number one enemy in Kogi state .

However in a move that probably frightened the Senator, the Police ordered a withdrawal of all policemen attached to individuals and VIPs in the country.

Dino Melaye’s reaction was to go ballistic with his pen, petitioning several agencies both nationally and internationally, informing of the alleged death threats and assassination attempts on his life and position.

Melaye petitioned not one or two agencies but in all he wrote to six agencies and commissions, highlighting how he’s been able to achieve so much in barely a term of serving as Senator of his state.

He specifically mentioned his governor’s name and stated that they do not see eye to eye because he has been vocal with his suggestions, criticisms and advise.

“Instead of heeding to my advice, he is bent on seeing me recalled as a Senator” Melaye stated.

Recall that the motion to have Senator Dino Melaye recalled has been reopened and slated for a near date in the future, hence the Senator’s move to forestall it!
