A former ‘fat fetish’ model who men paid to eat was rushed to hospital after collapsing en route to a weight loss clinic. The woman identified as Renee Biran feared her time was up as she struggled to get enough air because her heart and kidneys were failing.

The 53 year old – who started out as a plus sized model but ballooned as a result of eating on demand for paying customers – was making a desperate dash to a weight loss clinic when she fell dangerously ill.

“I was really hoping I’d feel better after getting some sleep. But actually, I feel worse,” she told her husband as they sped towards Houston.

“I’m starting to feel like I won’t make it. I don’t know what’s going on with me, but I feel like I can’t breathe right. I’m feeling lightheaded and everything else. I want to get me to see a doctor that can put some oxygen in my body. I don’t want to die in this car,” she said.

Panicked, she called bariatric surgeon Dr Younan who ordered the mother-of-six to abandon their appointment and instead head to A&E.

Once there, doctors confirmed her organs were failing, and she was kept as an inpatient until she lost 3st a month later.

But, as revealed on My 600lb Life, the scare wasn’t enough and after ignoring doctors’ orders to do water aerobics three times a week, she lost just 8lbs in two months, her organs began to fail again.

This time she dropped 7st in two months, taking her weight to 33st 6lbs. And in a bid to get to the root of her problems, she started psychotherapy where she claimed she’d been verbally and physically abused by her mother, who got pregnant with her during an affair.

She also accused her step-father of sexually abusing her when she was just nine years old, and after confronting her demons, she lost a further 2st and was approved for gastric sleeve surgery.

Renee now weighs in at 15st, taking her total weight loss to a staggering 30st.
