The existence of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will end once President Muhammadu Buhari dies, says Chief Ndukwe Ikoh.

The ex-chieftain of the Progressives Peoples Alliance (PPA), says President Buhari is the tiny string holding the party which will cut once he’s gone.

According to The Sun, the former House of Representatives aspirant said that the APC is a big balloon being held with a tiny string and that string is Buhari.

He said the ruling party knows the truth, hence, the prayers that he lives for many more years to come.

Ikoh further noted that the crisis in the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has made it so easy for prominent Igbo politicians to move out of the party.

He stressed that Nigeria may have only one political party by 2019.

The ex-PPA stalwart noted that there are people who are moving into the APC not because there is anything to gain, but they are afraid that the PDP may not come out of its crisis before 2019.

In an earlier report by NAIJ.com, a source at the Nigeria High Commission in London, United Kingdom, says President Muhammadu Buhari’s health has improved significantly.

The source revealed that the president is very stable.

According to the source that spoke under anonymity, only the president’s physicians, however, can determine when he will return to Nigeria and to work.
