Chance The Rapper Supports Actress Mo'Nique's Fight for Equal Pay by sweethoney12(f) : 8:31 pm

Actress Mo'Nique is one of the most polarizing figures in Hollywood these days. After appearing on The Breakfast Club last month and asserting that she was low-balled by Netflix and is boycotting the popular streaming company based on the figurative smack in the face, many have questioned the actress' draw power in 2018. Her claims have also brought out stories from people in Hollywood who allege there are other reasons for disdain for Mo'Nique in Tinseltown. But, she has a supporter in Chance The Rapper.

Yesterday (Feb. 24), the Chicago MC hopped on Twitter to voice his opinion on the matter. "Im with Mo’Nique," he tweeted. "Anybody remember when Mo’Nique filmed a special in a women’s correctional facility?" he added, referring to the comedy special, Mo'Nique: I Coulda Been Your Cellmate, where the comedian performed at The Ohio Reformatory for Women. The special came out in 2007.

"I remember," Chance posted. "Black Women, you deserve better."

On top of the Netflix issue, Mo'Nique claims she's been black-balled by industry heavy-weights like Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey, leading to her family to suffer financially.

Mo'Nique returned to The Breakfast Club on Friday (Feb. 23), to square off with Charlamagne Tha God, who labeled her Donkey of the Day for her antics in the prior interview. She stayed true to her stance.
