Zobo drink is a very wonderful drink which has many health benefits. It is made from dry calyx (flower) of Hibiscus Sabdariffa (Roselle plant) and is a very popular drink in Nigeria and some other parts of world. Individual region has a unique name for it; some call it hibiscus tea, omutete, sorrel, etc but here in Nigeria, its called zobo drink. It is mostly garnished with a citrus fruit say orange or lemon but I decided to garnish mine with apple fruit....Why?....Have you heard the saying 'an apple a day keeps the doctors away?'.....that's why!. Aside that, I love to explore other options and apple is a very good and healthy catch.
