Kidnappers killed in Abia

Operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad led by their Commander in Abia, SP Obioguru Johnbull on Sunday killed two kidnap suspects at their hideout in Ekeakpara, Osisioma LGA of Abia State

According to a report by ABN TV, while other suspects fled for their lives, two were gunned down by the police operatives.

Those rescued during the operation include: Michael Maduchukwu (M) age 39yrs kidnapped on 31/01/2020 at Ariaria Junction by St. Mary, Aba, Emeka Emenyeonu (m) age 38yrs kidnapped on the 01/02/2020 at Asa Umudim, Aba and Mercy Akuka (F) age 30yrs kidnapped on 01/02/2020 at Umudim Aba.

There was no casualty recorded on the side of the police officers.

Weapons were also recovered from the kidnappers.
