Popular Nigerian Singer, Zlatan Ibile has caused a stir on social media when he called Anthony Joshua a little boy and blasted DJ Cuppy for going out with that “little boy boy called Joshua.” He made this assertion on his Twitter handle. 

Anthony Joshua’s net worth doubled regaining the IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight belts from Andy Ruiz Jnr in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night. Andy Ruiz beat Joshua in June in the bout in New York in a loss that shocked the world. Joshua went back to training and improved his techniques then came back stronger. Joshua won through a unanimous decision of the judges. The three judges ruled that Joshua won a score of 118-110, 118-110 and 119-109. The fight in Saudi Arabia turned out to be the biggest boxing bout of the year as the fight brought together many fans from the world and even from Joshua’s home in Nigeria

Joshua came back to Nigeria and met DJ Cuppy and soon went on a tour of Lagos with her. DJ Cuppy was also in Saudi Arabia to show solidarity to Joshua, a move that must have irked Zlatan. It is left to be seen how DJ Cuppy will react to this even as Zlatan shared his picture with DJ Cuppy at an event

It is expected that he will earn between £40million-£60million for the fight with Ruiz. Surely even Zlatan’s fans knew this as they made mockery of Zlatan and compared his net worth with Joshua’s. 

Despite going into the rematch as the champion, Ruiz Jr banked a set fee of around $10m (£7.7m) obviously less than what Joshua would take home after the bout.
