Arsenal’s longest serving and most successful manager Arsene Wenger has finally decided to leave the Emirates at the of the season. Despite signing a two-year extension in his contract last summer, the Gunners’ performance this season is nothing to right home about. However, the London club will be looking for a formidable replacement when the current season comes to an end. 1. Carlo Ancelotti The former Baryen Munich coach is currently out of job after he was sacked in the Bavarians 3-0 loss to Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League group phase.
It has been rumoured in the last few months that the Italian is seeking a return to London to pitch his tent with the Gunners. Arsenal fans will be hoping the former Real Madrid gaffer will bring his glory days with top European outfits to their fortress. 2. Massimilliano Allgeri Despite being linked to take over from Antonio Conte at Chelsea the Juventus coach has also been tipped for the coveted job.  Allegri has won three consecutive Scudetto’s since taking over as manager of the Turin club and has qualified for two Champions League finals in three years. With the kind of defensive discipline the Italian coach possesses he would be the right pick to solve the problems at the back for Arsenal. 3. Thomas Tuchel The ex-Borussia Dortmund coach has been linked to become Paris Saint-Germain’s next manager as Unai Emery is set to leave at the end of the season.
The German coach has been widely known for playing attractive football with players who are hungry for success just like Wenger’s philosophy. Tuchel could have a change of heart if he is looking at the pedigree in coaching in the Premier League to the French Ligue 1. 4. Luis Enrique Following the impressive three years with Barcelona, Luis Enrique is top notch for the Gunners job, as the club will be looking to replace one big name with another.
The Spaniard won nine trophies including two La Liga and Champions League titles in the just that short space of time. Arsenal will be relishing to have a coach who can transform their situation and end their long wait for a Premier League title for over a decade. 5. Patrick Vieira One of the Arsenal faithfuls can also be considered in handling the managerial responsibilities at the Emirates following his past achievement with the club.
The former Arsenal captain had leadership qualities as player and can also lead the Gunners at the dug if given the opportunity. The current New York City FC coach won three Premier League titles under Wenger and was part of the squad that went unbeaten in the 2003/04 season.
