Aregbesola And Burden Of New Minimum Wage by starboy247(f) : 5:25 pm On May 23

Osogbo- In the last one year, the Government of the State of Osun under the leadership of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has been facing challenges meeting its obligations to its workforce due to the dwindling resources accruing to the state from the federation accounts. The situation has no doubt forced the state government to introduce certain modalities on the payment of salaries based on the resources available at the end of every month. Among the modalities was payment of full salaries to workers on grade levels 01 to 07 while workers on grade level 08 and above are being paid 50%.

However, agitation for new minimum wage by the organised labour in the country is however giving both the state government and workers worry on its implementation in the state when the new wage is eventually agreed and approved. Though, it was not certain what will be the new minimum wage in the country, it was learnt that no amount agreed on with the leadership of Labour will not pose additional burden on the purse of the government in the state.

This agitation for new minimum wage , according to Independent findings is already creating apprehension in the mind of public servants in the state especially regarding its implementation. The situation is becoming more worrisome for them the workers considering the little or zero allocation accruing to the state from the federation account in the last few months.

To be precise, in November 2015, allocation to the state from the federation account after all deductions were made was minus –N24m; an indication that the state was still indebted to the federal government when the allocation was eventually shared. Also, when the allocation for the month of January 2016 was released, the state after all deductions and external debts had been removed was left with paltry sum of N6.2m, a development which generated series of controversies especially from the opposition parties; few civil organizations based in the state and the government.

Opposition parties capitalised on the meagre resources accruing to the state to raise some posers on the possibility of the state been able to fulfill its financial obligations to its workforce. The opposition parties including Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Civil Societies Coalition for the Emancipation of Osun State Osun chastised the state government on the situation describing it as aftermath of reckless spending by the administration.

But the state government swiftly responded that despite the meagre allocation to the state, it was paying salaries for workers and pensioners in the state. As at last count, the state has paid salaries to its workforce up till the month of February 2016 and at the time of filling this report, investigation revealed that process for the payment of two months salaries to capture the month of March and April 2016 are in top gear. The state government did not mince words assuring the workers that it will not default on its responsibilities to them as well as residents of the state.

Before now, when allocation to the state was better off, the administration was paying salaries of workers on or before 27th of every month, not even waiting for the monthly allocation. The administration was also paying 13th month salary to workers as bonus to boost their morale since assumption of office in 2010 by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. The fact remained that the state government has since the time the allocation was reducing, began to look inward and had carried out a re-engineering strategies in its revenue generation system boosting its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) through which it was conveniently meeting the salaries of workers. As the state was trying to cope with the situation presently, increment in wage bill through new minimum wage without more fund from the federation account may be too dangerous to states especially Osun which is first from the rear on the allocation table.

Aside, the state may need to redouble its efforts on the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to cope with new minimum wage. The administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola needs to look into other sources of generating more funds to be able to meet its obligation to workers while residents of the state must be ready to support the government by paying their taxes promptly. Others avenues of generating funds which hitherto had been neglected as a result of discovery of oil which, rather than be a blessing has become burden on the country; must be fully harnessed and tapped.

Governor Aregbesola while addressing cross section of artisans working at Unity/Fakunle High School Osogbo during an unscheduled inspection tour harped on the need for the people especially the youth to embrace agriculture as the only panacea to the current economic crisis facing the nation. He maintained that his administration’s commitment to embark on massive infrastructures across the length and breadth of the state was not for fun but rather to generate mass employment opportunities, enrich common man and as well create wealth for the state.

About 40 youths were sent to Germany to acquire modern technology training in agricultural practices in line with the Six Point Integral Action Plan of the administration. Analysts have argued that the government must also ensure effective control the forest in the state which is another avenue to generate fund. A survey carried out by this reporter on a particular day revealed that no less than 30 trailer loads of planks/logs are ferry out of the state on daily basis to northern part of the country.

To these ones, If the government could effectively harness this avenue, lot of sources are lost through illegal felling of logs in the state from which huge revenue could be generated. Land use charges is another area that the state could explore to generate funds as Osogbo and other major towns in the state are expanding by the day structurally. New buildings such as hotel, filling stations, relaxation centres, eateries, car wash points and shopping complexes are springing up and they are source of revenue to government. Osun is also blessed with lots of tourist points which the government can develop to fetch more money to the state.

The Government of the State of Osun may also have parley with the Federal Government on the moribund companies located in Osogbo which had been privatized to some investors. Investigation conducted revealed that since the time companies loke Osogbo Steel Rolling Company (OSRC); Nigeria Machine Tools (NMT) and others had been sold to investors; they have not been put to use. If the state can work with federal government to ensure that the beneficiaries are made to put the companies to work, it will generate employment which eventually has impact on the state IGR. If these are done, the state may surprise the opponents wishing not wishing it well

Secrets to Longer Lasting Sex by starboy247(f) : 5:28 pm On May 23

There is a secret to making s*x last longer that only few people know of. This secret lies in a phase during s*x that is often neglected by many; it’s the phase right after sex. Some call this powerful time ‘the after-love.’

The power of the time after sex

The after-love is almost a time of meditation; we are open, relaxed and peaceful; energy flows, and inspirations follow. It’s a time of being; we are fully present, and the consciousness of life surrounds us with ease. It’s a time where we feel a different truth to our bodies. There is a sense of well-being, calmness and softness. It can be a time of quietness where no words are needed; it’s a time of sharing from the heart. It’s a time when we return to ourselves and to the world. It is indeed a magical time with many gifts.
Sadly, it’s often a time so short that we don’t allow ourselves the fullness of receiving all that it has to offer. So, let us take a look into different ways to extend this phase and thus make the most of the after-love phase.
Here are 3 things we can do to spend more time in this beautiful phase:

1. Edging

This is one of the most powerful lessons we can share about pleasure. Take orgasm out of your sexual experience. Make it less of a focus and instead, swim towards your edge. Build the fire of pleasure. Ride the waves of sensation, of feeling, of emotion for as long as you like or as long as you can.
Get close to the peak, but not so close that you cannot step back. Then simply be. Take shelter in the after-love for as long as you can. It can stay with you for days.

2. Stay connected

Extend your after-love by consciously connecting with your partner. Remain present after pleasure, whether you experience orgasm or not. Breathe together, and look into each other’s eyes. The deeper you breathe, the more everything will slow down and the more present you will be. The breaths will also help keep you in your body and out of your head.

3. Listen to your body

Allow your body to follow in the direction of the energy. After some sexual experiences, we may feel energised, even fiery. Let that flow through you in the form of dance and sound. Let it come from within.
If you are feeling slow and soft, let your body express that. The movements and sounds you make will keep the energy alive in your body. The after-love phase is truly a wonderful gift. If we choose to open it, it may offer us many expanding and empowering experiences.

It may offer us deeper insights and unexpected inspiration. It may offer us more self-love, peace of mind and physical energy.

BLACK SUNDAY | Many Dead as Bus Collides With Truck (PHOTOS) by starboy247(f) : 5:34 pm On May 23

A tragic Sunday as a Peace Mass Transit Bus collided with a yellow truck along the Umuahia-Okigwe Road at about 6.30pm on Sunday, May 22, 2016.

Princewill Atasie, an eye-witness said that due to a heavy rain, the road was slippery and this unfortunate incident happened when the yellow truck was overtaking another vehicle on the road.

“The other lane of the expressway is bad, so commuters are using one side, creating a one-way situation,” Atasie told our reporter on phone. “It appears as if the driver miscalculated as he was overtaking another vehicle which led to the head-on collusion.”

Images from the ghastly motor accident shows that the driver of the Peace Mass Transit bus and many passengers may have died on the spot.

As at the time of reporting this, first responders are yet to arrive at the scene of the accident.

May the souls of the departed, rest in peace.

May God forgive the dead, console the bereaved and save the rest of us from such occurrences.

Obaro of Kabba Dies by starboy247(f) : 5:36 pm On May 23

A paramount ruler in Kogi State, the Obaro of Kabba, Oba Michael Folorunsho Olobayo, is dead.

The Obadofin of Oweland, Oba Michael Yusuf, the second-in-command to the Obaro made the announcement yesterday.

The Obaro joined his ancestors after a protracted illness. He was aged 71 and spent 30 years seven months on the throne.

Oba Olobayo, a highly educated man and a profoundly charismatic leader ascended the throne of his forefathers in October 17, 1985.

His reign witnessed tremendous developments as the ancient town of Kabba went through various physical and aesthetic transformations.

On October 17 last year, he marked his 70th birthday and 30th year on the throne, a ceremony which drew eminent personalities to the ancient town.

An astute administrator and a man of rich pedigree, Oba Olobayo was a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he studied History. He was one time District Officer and rose to the pinnacle in the civil service before he was called to the throne of his forefathers.

During his 70th birthday, he narrated how he was terribly sick as an infant and his distressed mother who thought he would die, secretly rushed him to a powerful herbalist.

He said the herbalist, instead of attending to his mother, stood up and prostrated before him pouring on him his traditional coglomen (oriki), even as he foretold that he would not only be healed of the ailment but he would grow to rule his people as King in future.

He said his mother kept this secret to herself until he ascended the throne, and one his Aunts who was privy to the development later hinted him of what transpired in 1945 the year he was born.

Interestingly, he said as a little boy, he was always acting as a monarch, anytime they were on moonlight plays with his peers.

Two Nigerian nationals arrested for drugs at Cape Town airport by starboy247(f) : 5:38 pm On May 23

Two Nigerian nationals have been arrested at Cape Town International Airport in two separate instances for allegedly being in possession of cocaine worth over R700 000, Western Cape police said on Sunday.

South African Police Service officers at Cape Town International Airport were doing random stop-and-search duties at domestic arrivals at about 11.20am on Sunday when they approached two African women, Captain FC Van Wyk said.

One of the women’s bags was searched by a constable who discovered five small packets concealed in a pair of socks, wrapped in black pieces of plastic, he said.

"When police members unwrapped the packets they found white powder in the small see-through plastic packets. When they asked the suspect about the substances she explained that she is using the substances which is known to her as the drug cocaine."

"Members decided to physically search the suspect further and discovered more cocaine in about 11 packets wrapped in black pieces of plastic. The packets were concealed in various parts of her body and also inside her shoes," Van Wyk said.

"Prior to searching the suspect, when she was asked to declare anything, she said nothing and when she was asked if she is aware of every item in her bag, she agreed and said that she had packed her bag herself."

The 29-year-old woman was arrested for alleged possession of drugs. The estimated weight of the substance was 30g and its estimated street value was R7500. She would appear in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court soon, Van Wyk said.

About an hour earlier, a Nigerian man was also arrested at domestic arrivals for alleged possession of a substance presumed to be cocaine.

Van Wyk said police officers were “doing profiling” at domestic arrivals at about 10.25am when an unknown African man wearing a pair of blue jeans, a blue top, and brown sneakers was spotted picking up a pink suitcase from the carousel and walking away in the direction of the exit.

Police officers approached him and asked to search his suitcase. The search revealed a hidden compartment with 22 plastic bags containing a “suspicious white substance”.

The SAPS K9 unit was called and a sniffer dog reacted positively to the substance. The 31-year-old Nigerian national was then arrested.

"The weight of the substance is estimated to be 2.36kg with a street value of approximately R708 000. The suspect was detained and is due to appear in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court soon," Van Wyk said.

FG Suspends Talks with MTN by starboy247(f) : 5:40 pm On May 23

Nigeria has reportedly suspended discussions with MTN over the record US$3.9billion fine imposed on the mobile operator’s subsidiary there while the country’s parliament investigates the size of the penalty and the way in which it was imposed.

Bloomberg reported yesterday that Nigerian lawmakers in the House of Representatives had instituted a probe and that further discussions with MTN are on hold until its outcome is made known.

It quoted communications ministry spokesman, Victor Oluwadamilare, as saying that until the lawmakers “are through with their investigation, nothing can be done.”

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) imposed a record-breaking $5.2billion fine against MTN Nigeria last year for failing to disconnect more than 5million unregistered SIM cards.

That fine was later reduced to $3.9billion.

The fine has exerted strong downward pressure on MTN’s share price, which has fallen by 43 per cent year-on-year.

MTN will hold its annual general meeting of shareholders on Wednesday afternoon, where the interim Executive Chairman, Phuthuma Nhleko, is expected to provide an update of developments not only in Nigeria but across the group, which operates in 22 countries across the Middle East and Africa.

PDP Crisis Worsens, Police Seal Abuja Secretariat by starboy247(f) : 5:52 pm On May 23

The aftermath of the rancorous national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continued to reverberate yesterday, following the sealing of the premises of the national secretariat of the party by the police, preventing human and vehicular movement in and out of the premises.

The ill-fated convention of the party in Port Harcourt which led to the ouster of the national chairman of the PDP, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, also saw leaders of the party further polarised into different camps.

At the PDP national secretariat yesterday, stern-looking policemen took over all its entry and exist points. THISDAY gathered that the deployment of the policemen was on the orders of the Inspector General (IG) of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, following what security sources said was the perceived factionalisation of the opposition party after two parallel conventions were held in Abuja and Port Harcourt respectively on Saturday.

The police came in two heavy-duty trucks and used them to cordon-off the road leading to the PDP secretariat. Though the policemen did not respond to enquiries on their mission, it was learnt that they were under instructions not to allow anyone entry into the party’s office.

Not even the embattled former governor of Borno State who is resisting his ouster at the Port Harcourt convention could gain entry into his office.

Sheriff had described his removal as a coup that will not stand. He was eased from his position in a most dramatic manner, when the governors of the party and other leaders held an emergency meeting at the Rivers State governor’s lodge in Port Harcourt, ostensibly to chart a way forward, following a court order restraining the party from holding an elective convention.

At the meeting, Sheriff was asked to step down so that the party will select a more acceptable man for the job. Later, the governors and party leaders, together with delegates to the convention trouped to the Sharks Stadium, where they went ahead with the convention to remove Sheriff via a voice vote.

In place of the sacked Sheriff-led NWC, a new caretaker committee was appointed with Senator Ahmed Makarfi as interim national chairman, Senator Ben Obi (secretary), Senator Ugbesia (member), Senator Abdul Ningi (Member), Mr. Dayo Adeyeye (member), Aisha Aliyu (member), Mr. Usman (member).

The caretaker committee is expected to preside over a new convention of the party that will usher in new executives.

However, his Special Assistant on Media, Mr. Inua Bwala who spoke to THISDAY on Sunday said Sheriff was not going anywhere, adding that the Port Harcourt incident was a foiled coup, implying that his principal will still go ahead to act as the chairman of the party.

Bwala also said that Sheriff had summoned a meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party in his house to deliberate on the latest crisis rocking the party.

Bwala said: “The NWC is meeting today, some of these governors are backing out and some major stakeholders in NEC and BoT have rejected what happened in Port Harcourt.

“They are all heading to Sheriff’s house for a meeting. As far as we are concerned, what happened in Port Harcourt was a foiled coup.”

While the meeting was in progress, Bwala held a press briefing during which he described what transpired on Saturday in Port Harcourt as “most unfortunate”.

He added: “The NWC and other leaders of the party are currently in a meeting with Sheriff and at the end of the meeting they are likely going to come up with a solution on the way forward and based on that the party may after due consideration of all the court cases decide on a new date to proceed with a new convention.”

INEC to Study Report of Monitors

However, as the PDP lurched into another crisis, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) yesterday said it would take a position on the PDP leadership tussle only after studying the report of the team it sent to monitor the Port Harcourt convention.

The Deputy Director in charge of Media and Publicity, Mr. Nick Dazang who spoke to THISDAY on the phone said the commission was aware of the events in the opposition party, but would wait for the report of the monitoring team before making its position known on the Port Harcourt convention.

Wike: Why Sheriff was Shown the Exit

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the National Convention Planning Committee and Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has explained that the party had to let Sheriff go because his leadership was destabilising the party.

In an interview on Saturday night after the convention in Port Harcourt, Wike said: “All along, the crisis has been about the former acting chairman whose emergence was strongly opposed.

“This is destabilising the party and so we had to let him go. What is important is the party and not the individual. No sacrifice is too much for anyone to make as far as PDP is concerned.”

He noted that he had no personal interest in supporting Sheriff, as he was the best option at the time he emerged.
He said PDP would continue to grow from strength to strength, as it remained the only hope for the country.

“We will not allow the PDP to die or suffer divisions under our watch. History will never forgive us if we watch the party die,” Wike said.

The governor said the party leaders would work towards maintaining unity amongst all members of the party.

He said despite the challenges, the convention was successful, because the party was repositioned in the interest of the nation.

Nigeria Can’t Afford Another War Now, Says Anglican Church by starboy247(f) : 5:59 pm On May 23

The Diocese of Abuja of the Church of Nigeria, (Anglican Communion) has noted that the renewed pipeline vandalism in the Niger Delta was not in the best interest of Nigeria.

It therefore urged those behind the bombing of oil installations in the region to desist from the act forthwith.

The church called on the Niger Delta Avengers to cease hostility against the government while embracing dialogue, noting that Nigeria, which is currently engaged with too many battles cannot afford to start another one with militants in the oil producing areas of the federation.

The Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and Archbishop of Abuja Diocese, Most Rev Nicholas D. Okoh, made the remarke in his presidential address to the third session of the ninth Synod of Abuja Diocese, held at All Saints Church, Wuse.

While urging the federal government to also tread cautiously in its attempts to resolve the growing crises in the Niger Delta, the church called on it to seek collaboration with the host communities in its efforts to secure all pipelines.

He also urged the federal government to open the space for immediate revival of the dwindling Nigerian economy by creating investment friendly atmosphere for more foreign investors to henceforth, take Nigeria as a preferred destination.

He lauded the efforts by President Buhari towards diversifying the Nigerian economy, urging his government to initiate more cutting-edge approaches aimed towards a meaningful engagement of foreign investors for revival of the economy of the country.

He based his talk on the theme of the this year’s Synod, “The Poverty of Riches”, taken from the book of Revelation, 3 vs17, stating that notwithstanding the prosperity that a country enjoys, it may suffer spiritual poverty and then end up being poor (on the real in all ramifications) if the leaders and the led are careless and Godless.

He said: “Creating an investment friendly environment in the country will more pragmatically give us what we need. Factors that investors will need to thrive, especially security, power and other amenities should be made available, while investors would be naturally attracted.”

The Primate said the federal government and Nigerians in general should collectively find lasting solutions to the problem of insurgency, killings by herdsmen, fuel scarcity, pipeline vandalism and wide spread corruption, all he noted, are factors that often inhibit the growth of economy, and the nation in general.

On the menace of herdsmen across the federation, the primate said: “The federal government should make a policy to deliberately disarm the herdsmen” as a means of preventing the springing up of ethnic militias in all the regions of the federation in attempts to resist the rampage by herdsmen.”

“The synod calls on the National Assembly to drop the plan to propose a bill on grazing reserve as the issue has started heating up the polity whereas such will not do the herdsmen any good.”

Also, amid the rising spate of herdsmen’s attacks on farmers across the country, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at the weekend rejected a bill seeking to create grazing zones in all states of the federation, noting that the initiative would cause more conflicts.

The Chairman of National Council of Elders, Pastor. Israel Abatan, made the call yesterday at a news conference he addressed along with Media/Publicity Secretary, Pastor Ayodeji Olulani and Vice Chairman of the council, Pastor Obadiah Mulero and member RCCG Board of Trustee, Kayode Ajayi, among others.

Abatan, who addressed the conference on the church’s 15th National Elders’ Congress and Praise Nights in Lagos, noted that Nigeria would change very soon, urging the countrymen to endure the difficult time.

He disclosed that if allowed to sail through, the grazing bill would not end herdsmen-farmers conflict in the country, noting that it was not proper for the federal government to finance the creation of grazing zone for herdsmen.

He added that the grazing zones bill “has a lot of conflict content. The federal government and National Assembly should be very careful because the creation of grazing zones in all states of the federation can cause another conflict and violence in the country.”

He said it was the time the federal government should stop the raging conflict on the grazing zones, thereby proposing the establishment of ranches, which he said, was the modern method of rearing cattle and goats.

Also speaking at the conference, Olulani acknowledged that there was drought in the North, which according to him, was the major reason compelling herdsmen “to migrate their cattle to the South for grazing. We should all have ranches in the country rather than insist on creating grazing zone.”

The publicity secretary explained that herdsmen “are performing their economic activities. But they migrate their cattle to some people’s farmlands and eat up their economic crops. Every Nigerian has the right to do business. Where herdsmen’s rights stops is where another man’s rights begin.

“This often causes conflict and violence. But we must know that it is improper to migrate animals into other people’s farmland. In the UK and China, for instance, only 3 percent of their cattle are migrated from settlement to settlement. Animals are raised basically in ranches,” Olulani noted.

He warned the federal government against building a culture of conflict and violence, noting that it was not ideal for the governments to create grazing zones because cattle-rearing was purely private business.

On the industrial action, the publicity secretary said it was improper to embark upon national strike at this trying time, noting that Nigerians did not want to bear additional burden due to economic challenges.

According to him, when we want to change, things often get worse before they get better. We appeal the organised labour to reconsider its decision to call national strike. It is improper to bring more hardship upon Nigerians.

Pastor Shares Out 16 SUVs, 16 cars, Millions of Naira to Celebrate Birthday by starboy247(f) : 6:01 pm On May 23

The Senior Pastor of Champions Royal Assembly, Kubwa, Abuja, Joshua Iginla on Sunday, gave out 32 cars out of which were 16 SUVs to celebrate his birthday.

Iginla also gave out money running into several millions of naira to the aged, widows, orphanages and scholarships to orphans from nursery school to university.

Six Nollywood actors and actresses got Hummer jeep 3 series, Mercedes G-Wagon and Mercedes CLS 550. They include Jide Kosoko, Francis Duru, Alex Usifo, Ngozi Osondu, Thelma Nwosu and Sunday Omobolanle, popularly known as Babaluwe.

Artisans got generators and cash gifts while the widows got deep freezers, rice and cash gifts ranging from N150,000 to N1.5 million.

Treasure Orphanage Foundation, Nyanya, Divine Wound Orphanage, Kubwa and Christ Home Foundation, Kuje, got N1.5 million each and rice while some orphans in the homes were awarded scholarships from nursery to university.

Iginla said he had 782 widows and orphans he caters for.

“It doesn’t matter to me if I trek home as I have given even the car that I personally drive.

“I can only drive one car and live in one house at a time. This understanding is what has taught me that when I die, others will inherit my assets.

“The beauty of life is not in its duration but in its donation. I have not seen some of the beneficiaries before in my life or spoken to them.

“I’m seeing many of them for the first time today. I am seeing Jide Kosoko for the first time”, he said.

Iginla also said he gave cars to the Nollywood actors because many of them were poor but people erroneously think they were rich.

According to him, the fruit of the Nollywood artistes were being reaped by pirates and challenged government to do something to arrest it.

“The Nollywood actors and actresses are our ambassadors; they have projected the image of this country positively”, he said.

Kosoko, who confirmed he was meeting Iginla for the first time, commended him for his philanthropy. Iginla had, in 2015, given 18 cars and millions of naira as birthday gifts to people to celebrate his birthday.

I Borrowed N50M To Produce The CEO, Please Do Not Pirate – Kunle Afolayan Pleads by starboy247(f) : 9:55 pm On Jul 12

Ace producer, Kunle Afolayan held the Lagos grand premiere of his new movie “The CEO,” on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos and at the star-studded event, (check it out here) he pleaded with pirates not to bootleg his artistic creation.

According to the filmmaker and actor, he borrowed 50 million naira from Nigeria’s Bank of Industry to produce the movie and has not yet repaid the loan he took.

He said, “I borrowed N50million from Bank of Industry to produce this film. Please do not pirate the film. I beg you o. I need to pay back the money. I think I have 13 months left. Please help o”

Afolayan had his first major publicised run-in with pirates in 2015 when some of them threatened to release his hit movie “October 1” once they got a hold of his master copy. Angered by their audacity, Kunle, went on a controversial rant on social media accusing Ibo people of being responsible for piracy in Nigeria. When it became obvious that the pirates had made good on their threats, the AMVCA award-winning thespian went on to beg his fans not to patronize the sellers so as to help him reap the fruits of his labour.

The movie, The CEO was first premiered 30,000 feet in the air aboard a Lagos to Paris flight on June 1, 2016. It features Hilda Dokubo, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Angelique Kidjo, Wole Ojo among others and will begin showing in cinemas from July 15, 2016.
