WAP expands social media marketing by Airdy(m) : 12:01 pm

As the Wale Adenuga Productions seek to consolidate its status on the Nigerian entertainment scene, it is stepping up its social media marketing.

A statement from the company established by publisher, producer and proprietor, Mr. Wale Adenuga, indicated that it was leaving no stone unturned in this regard.

It said, “This year, WAP has gone a great length to increase the capacity of its Social Marketing Unit, in terms of personnel and equipment, in order to meet up with the increasing demand from federal and state MDAs, NGOs and corporate organisations, which are interested in the opportunity to use the Superstory TV drama and Papa Ajasco Reloaded TV comedy to get their messages to millions of their target audiences through stories centered around such messages.”

According to the outfit’s Managing Director, Wale Adenuga Jnr., the expansion is a welcome development for all parties concerned as WAP can now partner more organisations and deliver projects with even higher qualities.

“Since WAP was founded over 40 years ago by Mr Wale Adenuga MFR, the company has greatly improved the overall quality of the Nigerian entertainment industry through its several award-winning platforms – including Superstory, Papa Ajasco Reloaded, Nnenna & Friends, wapTV24-hour Family Entertainment Satellite TVChannel, PEFTI Film Institute and, most recently, PEFTI Cinemas,” he said.

The statement further indicated that, over the years, Wale Adenuga Productions, through its Social Marketing Unit, had partnered the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, Unilever, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Society for Family Health, Nutri-Milk, the National Agency for the Control of AIDS and several other reputable organisations, to produce specialised TV programmes and live shows.
