Chief Magistrate Court in Katsina has remanded one 18 years old Asiya Lawal of Kogo street, Sabuwa local government, in prison over allegedly killing her husband, Iliya Sani.
Asiya, who was newly married to Iliya allegedly locked him up in a room and set the house ablaze after a misunderstanding.

The Prosecuting police officer, Kabir Mohammed, told the court that as a result of the fire the deceased sustained various degrees on burns and was rushed to Funtua General hospital before being referred to ABU Teaching hospital.
