Two members of rival cult gangs, Shola
Faratimi and Bolaji Elewuro, have been
arrested by the Area J Police Command,
Elemoro, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State,
following their involvement in some
murder cases » in the area.
Daily Trust reports that detectives attached to
the station, acting on a tip-off, arrested the duo
during a violent clash between the Eiye and Aiye
cult groups during which one Adisa Gbalaya,
was allegedly shot dead. »
While parading the suspects, the State
Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni , said the
suspects were part of the group terrorizing
Ikota, Ajah and Lekki communities and had been
on the wanted list of the police for many
months.
