A mother of three and the wife of a lecturer
in Cross River State, Ijeoma Amaechi Oha
is in a serious trouble after news of her
brutality against her young housemaid »
became public
The woman who is married to one Dr. Boniface
Oha, a senior lecturer in the Igbo Department of
the Federal College of Education, Obudu, was
said to have maltreated her maid in the most
brutal manner, l eaving the child with severe
bruises » that had to be treated in a hospital.
According to one Godwin Apple Agim , a
Universal Peace Federation Ambassador who
posted the story on his Facebook wall, the case
was brought to light after a local vigilante in the
area heard the cries of help from the little girl
while patrolling the area in the night.
On investigation, the vigilante found out that
Mrs. Oha was brutalizing the child and they
moved in to rescue her. To compound the
matter, Mrs. Oha offered them a bribe of N3,000
which they refused and insisted on handing her
over to the police.
